  • A look at common objects that many people often take for granted and see how other cultures made them. Today's category is hygiene and personal care items.
Or, to put these items in a more broad category, beauty and fashion cosmetics is also a good label.
The list includes: fans, umbrellas, fly whisks, traditional tooth brushes, a fingernail manicure item, pedicure products, tweezers, razors, ear cleaning items, a perfume sprinkler, incense burners, and a discussion about skin creams, balms, moisturizers, and etc. The example for this in our video being the famous Shea Butter which is not only a great skin care product but is also used in traditional medicines and soaps. Hair care is also briefly mentioned.
Is there anything we missed in today's video? Look around your own home, and if you find something leave a comment. Being surrounded by so many products and services nowadays, we might not even think about how they were made in the past. Many everyday things around the world were designed totally different from the items we are used to. Isn't it exciting when ordinary things turn out to be completely unusual from what we expect?

Glad you found it interesting! I think by the time I'm done with this "Everything Ever" series, anyone who wants to write a story that takes place in Africa can use these videos as a guide to figure out how objects should appear in the setting.

Hello Red Spirit Mask. Great content you got there. I think all this channel needs is a little push to get things moving. I can help with that. My info is on this very channel I'm using to comment.

@@redspiritmask it’s hard to choose but I loved ocarina of time and tears of the kingdom!

Yep Ocarina of Time is a classic definitely high on my list. As for Tears of the Kingdom, not sure how I would rank it yet. I've been playing that one pretty slowly since I've been so busy with CZcams and other creative projects. Just beat the Gibdo boss in the Gerudo dessert yesterday. So, I just finally got all 4 avatars. I might go and beat the game soon but theres quite a few side quests I still want to complete first. That said I think I enjoyed Breath of the Wild more than Tears of the Kingdom because it was such a fresh and new experience compared to every other Zelda.
