Not sure when I'll have time but it's certainly a possible video topic. @redspiritmask Před 22 dny

I would also add to your statement that the heavy emphasis on masking culture helps add to the African vibes. Because although most masks in Majora aren't very African looking, the idea that a mask transforms you into a spirit is very much in line with African beliefs.

By DNA Trace, yes they come from an island in Indonesia, "Borneo" by study. The name of Madagascar actually european inveted term, Actual name "Malagasikara", refer to the people live in there, Malagasy People. Etymology, the name of Malagasikara, seem derived from Malay & Javan, "Malay Sekar" / "Malaka Sekar" (Malay Flower Bloom, Malaga = Malay/Malacca, Sekar = Blooming Flower). Sekar have many meaning in Indonesian Family language, which can mean "Dry", "Flower", "Blooming", "Sowing Seed", we can assume the meaning as "New Flower to be Bloom". I Assume, When arrive on the Island, They found the island to be Fertile and Wide. They make outpost there to planting several Canoe Plant for their supply in the Futures, and renamed the Island as "New Flower", some people stay, some people are back to homeland. In my region there is a myth, about seafarers wish they came back to an island to harvest what they sow (Menyekar) in there. also, the name of their King back then, Andrianjaka. Andri is common names in indonesia, by malay people. Jaka is common names in indonesia, by java people.

I understand your opinion, my friend, and I respect it, but according to my point of view, most companies in the first period of the new gaming era (the period of the spread of Nintendo and its devices and games) were bad and were lazy in designing, taking and borrowing from different cultures and civilizations, and therefore their quotes from those civilizations were weak or merely a form and decoration. And regardless of their intention, whether intentional or not, also unfortunately some companies to this day still follow this old approach, and also platform games are the lowest classification you will find in terms of diversity and difference, and it is limited to the usual stereotypical things only, so I do not think you will find what you are looking for. In which.
