文藝復興大聲管樂團(Alta Capella),由數把不同大小的文藝復興蕭姆管(Shawm)、文藝復興低音管(Dulcian)與其他木銅管樂器所組成,
這是500年前風靡歐洲城鎮、教堂高塔與宮廷陽台的戶外樂團組合,而大聲為「存在感與尊貴」之意,
從文獻與古畫考證,佛羅倫斯的梅蒂奇家族與英王亨利八世旗下皆有屬於自己的管樂合奏團,來襯托自己尊貴的帝王之相。
《文藝復興流行歌曲與舞蹈集(Il primo libro de' balli):窺探500年前的流行音樂》
這首當今十分受歡迎的文藝復興舞曲,由兩首一慢一快的舞曲所組成,從隆重迎賓感的二拍子到輕快的三拍子薩塔瑞洛舞曲(Saltatello)
可想像在文藝復興的宮廷舞會時,貴族們緩慢進場後,隨著三拍子跳出輕快舞步的節奏。
這首舞曲來自於16世紀的義大利作曲家與神秘學家- 喬吉奧·麥涅里奧(Giorgio Mainerio 1535-1582)的流行歌曲與舞蹈集(Il primo libro de' balli),裡頭收納著數首文藝復興時期的流行舞蹈音樂,他的舞蹈音樂耐聽、好玩與極富幽默感,
更能從音樂中感受文藝復興廣場和宮廷的風華年代與音樂文化。
《文藝復興舞曲的配器法》
樂曲譜中的四個聲部沒有指名特別配器,可以使用木笛家族或是維奧爾琴合奏團(Viol Consort),而不同的古樂器組合能帶出截然不同的氛圍感受,微光古樂集大聲管樂團使用三把文藝復興蕭姆管、一把文藝復興低音管與帝國軍隊繩鼓,詮釋出威嚴隆重的氛圍。

Yes actually, during the romantic period there was a “Chinese craze” where composers would often make arrangements for many eastern instruments using the pentatonic scale.
