Easy, you have a full suspension other bike that you own with a bunch of great ‘free’ parts, lol. Def a dumb title, they should have tried riding just a frame with no wheels, bars, etc, then it would be a $500 ‘bike’

Yeah... I love Ragley and appreciate CRC for offering great bikes at reasonable prices, but this is pretty misleading. If you bought all of these parts you'd end up having spent at least $2.5K, likely more. That said, 500 is a good price for a good hardtail frame, and the reviews I've seen suggest it is a good one. I have a Big Al and I LOVE it.
Keep doing what you're doing, Chain Reaction, but consider avoiding clickbait.
Great video. In the 2000's my bikes were both full suspension and hard tails . Now all i have is old 90's hardtails ,even 2 single speeds . I may give in if i snag a swell rocky mountain element though. I even have a fresh old Fox Vanilla R coil over for it .
Ok, now let's see you actually trade that for an actual $500 hardtail, complete build of $500 and see how great your review is.

Nukeproof horizon wheels are one of the best wheels I ever had on hardtail. They dirt cheap but have spank hub 👌🏻 very good wheels

Chain reaction sucks their mechanics don't do their job and then won't answer after they got your money!... "assembled" "set derailleur " first ride on new bike, chain fell off binding up broke n bent cassette,spokes derailleur hanger. Emailed called and they ghosted me. Last dollar you got from me!
