- The main purpose of this trip was to let the kids to experience climbing the big vertical face in the mountains. Although graded 'only' difficult Quiver Rib in East face of Aonach Dubh in Glencoe was an ideal route I was looking for. Plenty of holds and good places for belaying but exposed all the way with an exciting crux section. Nothing for faint hearted!
Despite making a lot of difficulties as usual:-] for the crucial climbing parts of the trip kids were brilliant, fully understanding and enjoying the very real importance of the moment. Luisa [13] was helping younger Jonáš [9] and we were all working together as a great family Team once again.
It wasn't too late on top of Aonach Dubh so we decided to carry on up Stob Coire nan Lochan via exciting wee scramble Dorsal Arete.
Older I get more I appreciate these big mountaineering days with my children.
Unforgettable climbing adventure with Luisa and Jonáš filmed in Glencoe in Scotland on 1st of September 2023

Lovely video Jonas, great seeing the next generation of Whisky and the Wild Mountaineers... That's a hell of a lot of work you've put into that film, you should be proud of it!
Best CZcams channel!👍🥃
Thank you very much
Great video, we were the guys gearing up for Archer Ridge at 14:20 - next time I'll bring the Jura! 👍
Thank you. Yes we saw you and hope you had a good climb! Archer is a beautiful route. I kept telling my son Jonáš DO NOT throw anything down! 🙂
Brilliant Jonas. Well done to your kids. Great experience. 🧗🧗♂️
Thanks Kevin. Special trip this one for me. Glad Luisa joined as she was thinking not to. Maybe that was last time climbing with both for some time as teenage years are kicking in with all what's included in it🙂 Will see..
Said it before but I'll say it again, really lucky kids.
Thank you
Great video, your children remind me so much of our son and daughter when they used to go climbing with their dad. Not many children are so lucky to have such experiences.
Thanks. Sometimes they feel they are lucky but some other times they hate me too! That is when I am dragging them up the hills away from their smartphones🙂
@@jonashubalekwhiskyandthewildI’m sure they will thank you when they are older.
Absolutely amazin'! The bairns were brilliant. Well done!!
Thanks a lot
That’s just amazing. Super well done to the bairns. ❤
Thank you from the whole Team🙂
Fair play to you brother.
And well done to the regularly fed .
Bravo on the musical score
Thanks very much
Your kids get to have some great experiences. They will never forget these moments. Excellent video.
Thank you. I hope they have it saved somewhere in their long term life memory as watching this they barely remembered🤣I will certainly never forget🙂 Cheers
My experience of this was now my boys are in their 40’s they do talk about our adventures when they were in their teens and they mention them to their children. I find it interesting what they remember of our trips, things I had forgotten, little things that obviously stuck with them. Anyway I think it is brilliant taking them on those adventures.
@@charlesrobert9527 Nice. It's not easy to organize these trips with the work school, weather etc + motivate the kids of this young generation to do real stuff is a challenge on it's own. They can have the whole world on the screen of their phone nowadays.. But when they are out doing something like this they enjoy it, and it's very satisfying. Cheers
Yes I am with you there regarding getting them off the screens. I am now over 70 but recently responded to a request for help with the Scouts in our area. It is interesting how much they would be on their mobile phones but we don’t allow mobile phones on Scout evenings and adventures. Yes once they realise they can have loads of fun without their mobiles then all is good and they want more and more. We recently had five days in the Brecon Beacons, they did gorge walking and jumping in the river, climbing and abseiling, albeit indoors as the weather wasn’t good for an outdoor session and they also had a great walk up and over Pen y Fan and the near by tops. They love it and want more.
@@charlesrobert9527 Well done you for helping with the Scouts👏👍
Very nice. Great having the kids with you climbing. Take care 👍
Thank you. Yes, it is always a special day when they join🙂
Amazing effort all round.
Thank you

Robert😁
Thank you very much. Glad and proud I made it to your Top 3. Does it mean I am number 3 though?🤣 Got what I deserve. I should post videos more often but that would be an awful slavery. I enjoy it in this way and that is the main thing🙂 Cheers🥃
Brilliant! Despite their moaning, it looks like they enjoyed the climb quite a lot 😁😁. As I did watching it. Actually after watching this video I bought a introductory course at Ratho EICA - they should pay you for promoting climbing 😂😂.
Thank you for watching and for this feedback. Of course they did. Well done you and good luck with climbing👍
Wow!!! That was a superb adventure! 😃 And great filming and editing 👍
Well done to everyone 👏😃
Thank you very much🙂
