    Das Château de Barberêche am linken Ufer des Schiffenensee unterhalb des Dorfes Barberêche (dt. Bärfischen, 569 m ü. M.) wurde im 16. Jahrhundert fertig gestellt und ist nach umfangreichen Umbauten durch die Stil-Epochen Neugotik und Neoklassizismus geprägt.

    The Château de Barberêche is situated on the left shore of the Lac de Schiffenen below the valley of Barberêche (German: Bärfischen, 569 m above sea level). The 16th-century palace is today, following extensive renovations, characterized by the neo-Gothic and neo-Classicism styles.
