From 1971 to till date Russia supported in every situation
Pakistan was geographically divided in West Pakistan (the Pakistan we all know) and East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). So elections were held in Pakistan and Mr Rehman from east Pakistan won. But the East Pakistan people were dark in complexion and were racially profiled. So Pakistan sent their Army to East Pakistan (their own country) and started incarcerating political rivals and started raping and killing their own (dark skinned) people. Mr Rehman asked India to help. India helped liberate East Pakistan and Mr Rehman called it Bangladesh. India did not occupy or conquer Bangladesh. India simply left Bangladesh in the hands of Mr Rehman and went back. Btw India also captured 93000 Pakistan soldiers who surrendered to India. this is the largest surrender ever made in a war anywhere in the World.

Dude, you're seeing nukes in the recent years. We have seen much worse weapons used in Mahabharat like Brahmastra which has the power to destroy an entire nation or one person or his generations. Now in this world you call it tactical nukes which is legal to be used in a war as the impact of the tactical nuke is limited and hence the radiation will only be there for just a few days and the chain reaction ends. Brahmastra can be called as one in all meaning it can be used tactically and widely. Now you can say it is a story. Agreed but how did they even know about such a weapon who can destroy the entire world when used if they haven't seen something like that. We're worried about something like that and generations suffer. This is why we prefer to keep peace in the world. Otherwise, it may take a month or 2 for us to capture Pakistan and attach it to India. With neuclear warheads like Brahmos it will take less than a day to destroy Pakistan completely even before they think of retaliating. But that's not India. We prefer to keep peace with our problem making neighbors like China and Pakistan.
