- We’re back with another day at Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar. Today we tried some new things including pre breakfasts lattes at the coffee bar, room service for lunch and a delicious Italian dinner at Portofino!

Hi,, Mel from England I have membership for privilege club. We joined this at Akimel Mexico last year. I’m looking to go away in June by myself as sadly I lost my husband last summer. I will start watching all your videos to take all your reviews. So pleased I found you
So sorry for you loss. Hopefully the videos can help you make your decisions. One thing I’ve heard from others that we have not really experienced is that DR is the best resort for those who enjoy mostly relaxing and hanging around the pool/beach/bars etc, and that Mexico is the best if you enjoy off site excursions. We’re more lounge around people but are planning to try some excursions on our next Mexico trip

The ones in Tenerife have no prestige areas, which I am not happy to find out about🙄
@@melhockley7553 I know. We would love to visit those but no Privilege Club and more expensive flights have always made them a no go for us
So now I know why Utd are awful at the moment 😂 Amber looks great we are back to Sian Kaan in 3 weeks enjoy the rest of your stay

fyi on other blogs/video about Ambar a lot of people mentioned the reg wifi being awful….maybe that is why it took for ever lol they want you to pay to upgrade maybe? We enjoy your daily post hope you keep doing them 😊
Thanks! The Wi-Fi definitely is a little on the slow side, but it’s 100 times better than the first time we visited

Haha you’ll have a blast! We visited for the first time back in 2016 and got served or offered Mamajuana every where we went. This trip haven’t seen it anywhere but the lobby shops

Did you get to try Snorkeling from the Beach, and if so, was there anything to see or just a sandy bottom?
We enjoy Snorkeling but some of the Excursions are very pricy so we would like to Snorkel from the Beach if there is anything to see.

Thanks! No snorkeling for us unfortunately. We always plan to do more excursions and activities, but once we get there we always get lazy and just lounge by the beach 🤣
I hope you guys made it out to the Bahia Village (entrance I think is by the Punta Cana Lobby).
We haven’t yet. Keep getting caught by the rain, but going to try and squeeze it in before we leave
Is everything all inclusive including the restaurants?
Yep. There are upgrades you can pay for like premium liquors, tomahawk steaks, lobster etc, but the standard food and drinks are all inclusive
Would you say that you’re not a drinker ?
