The 90s models weren’t the first headlining models to gain attention. The media decided to make them a thing. Coining the term “supermodel” could have easily pertained to Iman, Patti Hansen, Jerry Hall and even Gia Carangi. The 90s models were in the right place at the right time to be crowned Supermodels.

Gisele didn't have a plethora of super models to contend with. There were so many supers that none could be above the other. Gisele would not be an Uber in that generation of models! Put her beside Christy, Linda, Shalom Claudia, Cindy, Helena, Naomi . . . .
