Awesome Large scale kits are hard to get away from lol
That is a Awesome 959 .
Nice kit .
That Porsche is big. Looks like a nice kit, very detailed. I know you will do an awesome build on this one. For me 1/24th & 1/25th scale is just right for me. Thanks for sharing Matt.
That’s is a big boy!!!!
Another one I have! The original make I bought 40 plus years ago.
Very cool kit Matt ❤
That puppy should keep you busy for some time. The finished model would be sweet looking!
Nice unboxing. Those cars were really advanced when they were built. I built the Testor’s 1/25 scale Porsche 959, and it was a curbside. That kit looks like a great one. Thanks for sharing.
One of my favorite aspects of these Testors models when I built them in the 1990s was the mini catalogs that came with them. In looking at this one, I had both the Ferrari F40 - the Porsche 959's main rival in those days as the ultimate supercar - and the Nissan 300ZX turbo. The Ferrari was an Italeri model while the Nissan was a Fujimi kit like the Suzuki jeep.
Very Nice! I have a a few unbuilt MPC 1/16 kits and built some in the past. So big and take up much space!
Nice kit 😊
I remember when they came out. Limited edition and the local garage had one. Built to go against the Ferrari F40.
Very cool kit. The 1/12 lamborghini kit was $100.00 when released.
cool kit.
I hope to see you build that soon.
Sweet 👍👍
i just sold that and the larger black Lamborghini kit at recent club meeting. all both sealed in the bags.
Misread the title as 1:6 and was expecting a MASSIVE kit lmao
Wow that thing is HUGE! Love all the detailed parts that it comes with! Looks like it will be fun to build!
8.22 - That 1/12 Countach was made by Doyusha and is an awesome kit. Opening features as well as fully functioning suspension. It even included tiny bulbs for the head and tail lights.
Sold under multiple names, but check the trees, and you will see it was made by Otaki. It is an excellent kit if you can find one.
Nice 😅
The best difference is the 1/16th isn't a damn curbside!
Right, some retailer's want $50 for a curbside kit. I pass on those.
The 959 was way ahead of its time.
Great looking kit, though its going to take much more paint to cover it than a 1/25 scale. I built a Z28 Camaro at that scale back in the day.
Enjoy the build matt.Seems to be a good kit. I just started with the Jaegermeister porshe in 1-12 scale. And it is humunges big. And loads of parts, wich can be all detailed very well. Planning to have it ready just before x-mas. I know that is still very long away. But need to do surgery the 14th of july and the a 12 week chemo. Think i will be having my hand full on it untill x-mas. Looking very much forward to your build of this beauty.
I wish you the best my friend!
@@modelcarvideos5829 Don,t worry matt. I am not planning to give up now. Had more hits to endure in my life.I will overcome this one hopefully also. And i have faith in my doctors. Always stay positive, don,t go negative, then you are not helping yourself or family.
I have the Testors 1:24 959 as well.
that model is screaming or some photo etch . nice kit
i have a 1/16 ferrari 288gto real springs in the front suspension
Cool
Just a little bit bigger😅😅
200 Mph Car...The bottom was most likely flat with no detail for aero dynamic.
