I always love the anti-beats comments, because #1 they headphones actually do everything I need them to, and personally I don't have a single complaint about them, but #2 and the reason I have them is because I got them for free. I didn't spend a dime on these comfortable headphones that fit me, stay on my head, and are amplified enough to overpower my drums unlike every other pair I've had. I don't need them for mixing or anything besides playback.

15 year drummer myself, and this is awesome. I've tried to cover this song, and he makes it look easy as hell. Way to go man! The haters are probably novices themselves. I wanna see an Atreyu cover or something. To do what you did takes insane amount of skill.

If you are 15 years old, i would urge you to look at other drummers than this guy for inspiration. For one, all that stick throwing is taking away from keeping time, which is the core of being a good drummer. Look at a guy like Steve Gadd, he doesn't flash anything else than raw skills. And the rhythms he chooses compliments the other instruments and what they are doing very well and elevates the track. Don't wright his stuff of for being boring right away, look at his technique and with what ease he plays.
If this guy played like he does in this video with a band, it would truly be embarrassing for everyone involved.
It's just advice, don't take it if you think i'm an old idiot. (I'm not much older than you, and have myself benefited from someone telling me something similar once :-)

@lexcu Thats not true. I understand your point if how legends do inspire us such as Neil Peart, Buddy Rich, Jeff Pocaro, but you learn from everyone. You can learn from a beginner. People get inspired by all sorts of people, and I'm sure he has inspired many people. It doesn't have to be a legend to get your inspiration. Maybe your rival, who knows? All I'm saying is that you can get better from everyone. That is how you get far. Hardwork + passion = Success.

Also coopers stick flips and tricks are known used a lot. Cooper uses them because he says in his videos that that's his style of playing drums, and he likes to bring excitement rather than boring to watch. Many other drummers have different styles, which can inspire us to play like that style. But overtime we grow and that is how our own style forms in drums.. :)
