1/2 garlic head
2 slices of ginger
1/2 cup of mushroom
1/3 cilantro
1 tbsp wine (optional)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp of black rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1/4 white pepper powder
1/4 tsp spice five

OMG!! Just finished making our first batch. SO GOOD. We used bokchoy cabbage instead of cilantro, but something tells me the cilantro would have been even better. It was still absolutely delicious. She wasn't lying when she said that the shaoxing wine really makes a difference in the flavor. (it's basically just dry sherry sauce that you can get at your local grocery store.) You can taste it, but it's not overwhelming by any means. The folding was really easy and her demonstration was perfect. My fiancé and I really had such a good time cooking this meal together. Most of the work is all prep, but SUPER EASY. Thank you so much for sharing your family recipe with us. Your aunt is June is a kitchen genius.
I made these tonight with pre made dumpling wraps and our own take on seasoning the pork mince but without your tips I would've not been able to do as well as they turned out! Better than store bough for sure, thank you so much !
what i like about home cooks is that they ALWAYS show the alternate side to cooking stuff, like different ingredients, cooking techniques or fillings etc etc. wonderful. she has a wonderful personality, very pleasing and balanced tone of voice and her teaching technique is really good as well. def gonna try these this weekend. :) tnx ewa

What a delicious and lovely dumplings ! I made Chinese dumplings last time. I use vegetables like watercress instead of mushrooms. Boil them and dip in vinegar,sesame oil and garlic and chilli sauce..
I like the fact that the plates she used to serve to dumplings are exactly what my family uses at home.

Honestly always wanted to learn how to make dumplings myself since I never really tried any personally so my first experience honestly would love it to be the ones I make just so I can see how much betters others taste than mine lol but I love the vid and the guide!
