He gets a bad rap, which is understandable, but it completely overshadows that fact that he was a pretty darn good player. He just never lived up to the hype. He probably could have been an elite player and had a great career had he maintained focus and curbed his penchant for women, alcohol and late nights. I think he had ability and talent to be one of the best in Europe in his prime, but never would have been better than Zlatan. I am just finishing up his book Bendtner Both Sides. Its a fantastic read. I've always liked him and holding out a little hope he decides to get into great shape and give it one more go. Maybe the MLS!

Rosenborg played in Champions League every year from 95/96 too 07/08 beating clubs like AC Milan, Valencia, Real Madrid and Dortmund! While it went downhill from there its not like there is no info about them.
