I'll stick with Eneloops, thanks. I owe 10 AA EBL''s given to me by a relative as a gift and after 2+ years of use I find they DON'T hold their charge very well and I've had 2 complete failures where the battery won't take a charge no matter how I try and reset or recondition it in my charger. Meanwhile, the Eneloops I bought in 2011 (rated for 1500 cycles) are still going strong. I will note my EBL cells are white. I haven't seen the black ones you showcase in your video so maybe those are an improvement over the ones I use. Not going to take the chance though. Anyway, still love your channel and look forward to your next video drop. 73!
Thanks for the feedback. This is my first go at reviewing something like this so I think it will be a learning experience for me as well. The more input I get the better, and I do appreciate it.
Having both the positive and negative connection at the same end of the battery seems pretty sketchy. I've seen poorly designed battery compartments that would probably short that. I guess the "protection" for each cell should probably kick in there (let's hope). Might be worth a shot for some applications though.

I have a Angel Eyes flash light. Had it for a year. i will buy another. A couple of questions: 1) How long do they maintain a charge? Duracell's have a published shelf life on the charge. I would like to know what they are on these. 2) Will they sell just the batteries? i have several devices that would need them and I don't want to end up with charges I have no use for. 3) For cost you might include power cost for the charger. I know it might be negligible but maybe state that on your review. Some folks may be running the charger on battery backup. I like your videos. Always a excellent use of time. 73

Thanks too for the feedback on the battery package. 1) I don't see this answered in any of their technical data, so this is something that needs to be published. 2) Not yet, I have suggested they do this as that will be the expectation. 3) I did include the charger cost so it is worst case scenario.
What is the cost of keeping the charger plugged in?
Nothing on the EBL website on that, but that's a great question. I'll pass that on to them....
Hmmm. I don't know if this is worth it. Extra batteries are not available on the Amazon store or from their website. And don't know what other EBL model batteries are compatible with this charger's technology.
None, no other batteries are compatible. That was my feedback to EBL. The concept is fantastic, they need to make a commitment to it....
Well they lost me at proprietary cells. If the charging standard becomes universal like standard holders have then fine. Not doing this though.
I hear you K4RJJ. I try to give all the details relevant to the decision making process, and this is a show stopper for some people.

I find Tenergy Premium Pro better than EBL.
