  • The is a potpourri of things. We're at Shallow bay, we succumb to Ragu sauce, we visit some Vikings, and Dan gets teachy about rocks and trees.

Great and comprehensive explanation about global heatening! I guess it is the very best I have heard so far about that question. With your permission, I'll share it with my mates and family. As you, I have both sons and four beautiful granddaughters, and I am worried about what are the conditions under which they all will have to live.
And the worst thing about that is that, despite facts, there are still a lot of people (and some of them socially or politically influential) who still deny global heatening and weather change. Terryfying and dangerous game! And yes, we are all guilty

Well, this was very interesting and different, all in a good way. It gives people a chance to reflect on our world and our surroundings. Donlt beat yourself for dfriving a V8. Others have private jets. Nancy Peolsi loves to use hers very freely I have heard. We all have our needs on this earth and you need a V8 in a vehicle you need. We all have to take care of ourselves. Our kids and their kids will do the same. In the mean time, your V8 means very little compared to what Putin, Kim Jong Un, China, and all the other idiots are doing to bring us to another world war that we cannot seem to get them to come to terms with. You mentioned doomsday but it wont be because of you and your V8. The government would put the kabosh on that when it does. In the meantime, the world turns and you and I are part of it. We work hard and if we are lucky we can retire and drive our vans or trailers to places we deserve to see. If doomsday is really coming then dont we owe it to the world to embrace its beauty before the rest of the world destroys it? We all do out part to make it better but a few people in power can do a lot more to overturn that effort, especially in a country where we have the ability to disagree and vote and stall on what needs to be done because we are in a democracy, instead of a dictator who says what to do. Back in the 70s when we were working on "gas-ohol", Brasil was using straight alcohol because they had a dictator. They had (and probably still do) a reservoir under the hood similar to a windsheild washer container and it held gas. That gas was used to start the engine easier, like starting fluid. We are able to decide our own fate through voting. You have to take the good with the bad. The wife and I love your channel. Be safe out there..

Well, when this generation dies off then the right things might begin to happen environmentally. And of course our grandkids will blame us for good reason. Eventually all cars will be electric, not by govt decree but because the car companies have decreed it. They know where the money will be and they don't want to be left out. My F150 will only be electric in 10 yrs. It's already been decided by Ford. They're building two 14 billion dollar plants now to make them. All robotic too. They're bringing all the manufacturing back to the US but very few workers in the factories. The future belongs to the educated I guess. Remember when they were going to phase out incandescent light bulbs and a lot of people rushed out to buy crates of them? Well no one wants any now as the LED's are so much better. Strange people. Oh... Pelosi used to fly commercial but she has a small jet now as Bush declared all speakers had to fly that way after 9/11.
