I have the cookie countess airbrush machine. It's very easy to work with. The only thing I wish it had, is a cover on the well. I have spilled airbrush liquid too many times.
This has been so informative and helpful. As a beginner I have been hesitant to take the next step up to airbrush and stenciling. I love that you airbrush over white icing to make it faster, but how do you prevent your non iced cookie on the sides to not get airbrushed?

The icing. I don't use RI but use Icing Sugar Glaze with Corn Syrup to make it hard and shiny. The paint seems to 'bead' up on it. The cookies you showed seem to be 'dull' and not shiny. Would a shiny icing cause the paint to 'bead'? Thanks

How do you get the base coat of icing so close to the edge of your cookies? Did you dip them? They look so perfect. Thank you for this video. I love it when you put on your teacher hat. Your videos are very helpful.

I went to "The Cookie Countess" on Instagram but it wasn't clear to me how to find the video tip. I see lots and lots of images and some videos but nothing relating to icing cookies. I watched your periscope video on CZcams. Is that the one you are talking about? If not, I'm clueless. When you say "highlights" I'm assuming that's the word folks use to describe all the images that show up on your Instagram page? Sorry, I am a member of Instagram but I'm not active there.
I like the idea to paint white icing in desirable color - but I really think it's little groose that the cookie is painted than too.
How long have your cookies dried by the time you go to place a stencil and airbrush?

Hi! There is a brand called Dinkydoodle that makes alcohol based colors that can be used on chocolate - and used with our airbrush machine.

Because the single action gun style compressor does not spool down. With a dual action compressor, the compressor is designed to spool down when you are not pressing down on the trigger.

Does cookie countess have an airbrush color for chocolate or what do you recommend?
Shauny, for chocolate you'll want an oil based edible airbrush color. Anything with water in it will seize/separate the chocolate. We don't have any oil based products in our line, but do a google search and you're sure to find some! Thank you!
