It's very good that you have highlighted the Emu4vita series emulators since they are much lighter and faster than on RetroArch. Especially for playing the most impressive and graphically complex 2D arcades such as those of CPS3 (Street Fighter III etc) and also those of the awesome PolyGame Master system, which in RA is simply impossible. I've done some tests, having rewind enabled seems to takes a small performance hit. Yoshis Island definitely ran smoother in 1.08. Also, it seems like the new Emu4Vita update introduces some rare slowdowns. Sims - Bustin Out slows down whenever I open the menu, but only on 1.10 I'm staying on the old version for now. It's a great frontend though, a big step up from RA.

I had stopped using my 3DS because despite having a fine native library the power just isn't there for homebrew like the vita. I've barely touched native games since I got this (played some dragons crown and fate) but I've mostly used it for homebrews, emulation, ports and the like! It's been a thrill to play brand new gba games like the one in this vid and good boy galaxy, full conversions like bigs fishing adventure, ports of diablo 1, kart rider, and more. Such a brilliant little system and I'm simultaneously glad it failed giving us this economically viable option but sad it failed since we could have even more powerful revisions now.
Hey Chuck, in the most recent built of retroarch there is a new gpsp core-option supporting netplay via gba wireless adapter. there are already a couple of videos on it about anbernic- and miyoo-devices, but (obviously) none about the vita. would you consider testing this function in a future video?

Would it be possible to run a native GTA V port on the Vita? I've seen PSP games work flawlessly, Bully running smoothly, and that got me thinking, a GTA V port would be perfect. I'm fairly certain the Vita would be able to handle it. Hell, maybe even a Cyberpunk 2077 port could work if they just dumb down the graphics a bit, and maybe have less pedestrians walking around.

Crazy Emu4Vita update. I had no issue with PSX games. maybe you should try disabling the Rewind function because it caused me lag in Retroarch before. Retroarch is pretty much obsolete for me now, except Retroarch runs some arcade roms (like Dodonpachi) that Emu4Vita doesn't.
can u emulate Bandai namco arcade cabinets on Retroarch? I'm trying to play "Tekken Tag Tournament" arcade version and idk which one is related to "House of the dead" but i wanted that game as well

Now I can play Simpsons Hit and run *Amazing news also apologies for being rude to u in the past so I'd like to put that behind and congratulate you hope your channel grows!*
that's just a front end like retroarch. basically it uses same cores as RA but it s quicker and easier on vita specs. On deck there are many alternatives I usually prefer standalone emus

It is playable, at least last time I played it, just a small amount of frame stuttering and small screen
got it running just some longer than normal loading times and slow loading textures which i'm sure would be fixed in the next few updates

You cant. The vita is not that powerful. I know this because i build arcade machines, you need a pc or a pi 5 for that level of emulation.
Please make the audio mono when recording with your phone. Just feedback! It's a little annoying if you're listening to the video through headphones
