@@Sir_Master The shuffler is fine and never picks favourites. Ignore the two only fabled passages always making it to your opening hand.
Invoke Despair may be banned but Bant Control has been inflicting despair quite effectively. Shegeki is back.
If there's any card I'm glad gets to stay for extended rotation, it's Shigeki.
I'm partial to Esper Control, because Void Rend is a beautiful card! Plus I like running being able to run Breach the Multiverse alongside Jace, Perfected Mind for the big mill plays.

I was the final match against mono- white, what a blowout, that second wandering emperor really crushed it.Definitely think my little brew was unsuccessful, anything white feels like you’ll probably want to go aggro now without bankbuster. Great content as always CGB!

honestly, i think wedding announcement and wandering emperor got even better with invasion of gobakhan. i really liked the synergy between those cards and just making the little tokens into mass monsters

Really going to miss playing Bank, Fable, and Invoke. But it needed to happen. Every deck had those cards standard felt so stale everyone had the same decks lol.

ur 6ish month old Jeskai Superfriends token deck subbing out fable for mentor OR the shark gang and updating the cards is working surprisingly well. Seedshark is more consistent with you tapping incubations for Saheeli +1 and some sweeping protection, but a couple mentor activations unchecked won me a game i probably shouldnt have. mentor also gives you the token for free, where as you have to invest 2 mana for an extra blocker with shark gang, though it can be more potent.
need to test more, but i think shark is correct because of saheeli +1 and its a 2/4 w/ flying
invasion of new phyrexia is amazing here, which can be devastating with any number of announcements flipped, without flipping invasion itself. also iconoclast into invasion for 1 is a decent T2 & T3 curve out if you didnt draw a proper 3 drop. Archangel elspeth reviving dead iconoclast/mentor/shark, giving you reach, or worst case producing more tokens is also great.

I got super excited thinking this was a HB video about Zurgo and Ojutai, but then I saw it was standard. The fun part about HB is when you want to play a certain card, you always have access to it....unlike not drawing 1 of your 4 Zurgo and Ojutai's in trash ass standard.

I crafted the remaining cards for this deck and played 4 games with it in Platinum tier 4 (cause rank reset). I won 3 out of 4. The only time I lost was against an Etali that got my Zurgo and Ojuitai :/
I was able to beat mono white, Rakdos and a deck similar to one CGB played against with Herd Migration. In all the games that I won I drew Zurgo and Ojutai (sometimes 3 or 4 copies...) and I will admit it was a great help and it might have won me the games. Good deck overall, I'll definitely play more games with it!

Absolutely love this deck
I wouldn’t have done the very risky brotherhood’s end play. I would have attacked with the Shark, and plused on the incubate token then hold the block. If they attack all you have a double block on one of the terrors and would have either taken 3 from the Delver or killed it if they blocked or kept it back for flipping potential later. Then you could minus the emperor next turn and get rid of one of the terrors and force a protection spell while you continue to attack in the air with your shark and draw more spells to use your incubate tokens. The wanderer is such a good pressure tool I just wouldn’t throw it away unless I needed to.

I come from the livestream where CGB was playing and recording this deck for this video, and he wanted us to defend him in the comments, as the true white knights that Twitch viewers are... No but seriously he played quite a few games, definitely enough for a video, and the dragons just weren't showing up.
We collectively decided that this is just a shark tribal deck now.
Deck is called jeskai dragons, have only 1 dragon and the dragon isnt even played

I took out some of the white invasions, swapped them out for seal from existence. Run 4 fateful absence main board. 3 dissipate, 3 wandering emperor and 2 sarkan soul aflame. I made it a little more control like and it seems to run solid. Try it out and let me know what you think. 🙏 love the channel.
I also took out play with fire and volcanic sprite.

I want to see zurgo and Ojutai join with the new sarkhan so bad in more of a midrange beats. The quadruple trigger (sarkhan copy and z&o attacking 2 targets) is too good
Never forget, shuffler is scuffed. So you drop Zurgo and Ojutai to 3 of and you'll draw all 3 opening hand.
best to just put it as a one of, and always guaranteed its in your opening hand

At 23:30 you could have taken a big expensive Herd Migration to keep them from being able to cycle it. Basically turns off half of the use of the card, and makes the only remaining way to use it impossibly expensive.
It would also hurt their ability to consistently hit their land drops, which is pretty good for keeping the tax from Gobakhan relevant as long as possible.
Does Invasion of Gobakhan increase the cost to cycle cards as well?

It is amazing how you drew each of your one copy cards, but didn't draw any of your four copies of Oujitai
Such a tricky first game, I think you should have attacked with token at 13:27 though instead of shark, forcing the chump from delver
Downside is CGB is just dead if opponent simply chumps and attacks back. Need a spell on the stack to convert Make Disappear into an Incubate token.
Also that first game made me sick, too stressful
SUPERFRIENDS! SUPERFRIENDS! SUPERFRIENDS! All jokes aside if you could make ichormoon gauntlet feel a little more consistent I'd love to see your take on it.
jeskai superfriend/tokens is pretty good right now, with mentor and iconoclast. can go superwide controlling the board w/ only 8 creatures that all benefit from spells you cast and pair amazing w/ announcement. cgb's older jeskai superfriends deck taking out fable for mentor n tweaking the deck with new cards is a decent spot to start. also invasion of new phyrexia can be devistating with any number of announcements flipped, without flipping invasion to teferi.
@@Perceptious37 but why red? Black brings premium cheap removals and vraska-proliferate. Optionally one Kaya might be playable. I have Esper shell for superfriends
And shark > than mentor, obviously. Superfriends is a control deck.

I think, there are other decks for the format now, control/midrange is correct read on the meta I believe. This deck is a solid 6/10 deck but its not a meta breaker.

Game 1 mistake, when they fading hoped your token and you make disappear. Your token was gone anyway, should sac it to double make disappear and get a 2nd incubate.
