I love the super-quick deck intro but I miss Hello, it’s me CGB. It always gives me a warm feeling
100% agree GCB can likely adjust his new intro formats to include that so us old fans can feel happy with what is familiar during the changes :)

Was coming to comment the same thing. Though I don't think the opponent could have recovered from his position regardless.
@@andfriends11 he could though have somithng like the suns twilight or even worse a sylex which kills everything and leaves everybody with 6 lands so you have to close the game while you can if you miss,one turn might change everything in magic.i ve lost a lot of games because of not noticing lethal.
@@andfriends11 if the opponent had drawn jace, he would win, since he has a soul partition in hand. Through paying phyrexian mana he could cast it two times plus soul partition and mill cgb to oblivion.

Just reached mythic today with a Kaya reanimator deck. It has 2 celestus for lifegain + card draw and discard outlet. I also took out the invoke justice and put in Breach since it can find me that Kaya if I don't have her in hand or graveyard. Liliana also works great in this deck because she can be removal and a discard outlet. Also Rite of Oblivion works really well in this deck. You can just sac your tokens to it and it has flashback so you can connive it away the informant and still be able to play it.
I love how impatient CGB gets when playing against control players.

I like all these decks with both Restoration and Farmhand that manage to slip in ways to make the extra lands more value than flood, while keeping the late game bombs playable.
Presented in tournaments, then by you playing Azorius, I love the play patterns it creates.
This deck is kinda flavorful too because Kaya is from Tolvada.
CGB, The phrase “can’t save it, so don’t trade it” needs to be on a playmat or tshirt. That’s solid advice

I've been running a Kaya deck but removed the reanimate earlier this week. Replaced with Sorin, Edgar, Kaya 3, and more board wipes. That plus Mirrex let me grind out the Kaya/Emperor setup with tokens.
12 straight land in my first match up with 2 connives.... ugh. I like the planeswalker strength though. 2nd game 4 wandering emporer before 3rd land.

So, we got like two three color control plus Jace mill as wincon decks in this vid. Interesting deck
1 or 2 Celestus would be pretty good in this deck: ramp + occasional discard
Yea I’ve been playing this deck since it appeared on moxfield the other day, took out a resto and slotted in 1 Celestus. Works very well.
Honestly have been slotting in 1 copy of Celestus in most of my control decks, it’s almost always better than other turn 3 alternatives.
@@Joe_Dominates it's just a value train. Mana rock with incidental life gain and extra card filtering. That's why I use Brotherhood's End to crush your dreams of value and your Celestus.

that decision made zero sense to me... like why not just discard the eternal wanderer and go for the turn 5 reanimation play?
@@thunderryu0494 Because against a control deck, which is what he was assuming, that play is very low value. What does an Eternal Wanderer on an empty board achieve, if it even resolves in the first place? Against control the deck is often going to want to shift gears and instead use its reanimation spells to just be additional copies of hardcast threats rather than ways to cheat mana. There will be times to go for mana cheats but very often that's just spending two threats to get one countered rather than making the opponent handle two threats.
Repair and Recharge is like Invoke Justice, but much easier to cast.
I run this deck now with 2: Portal to Phyrexia, Cruelty of Gix, Hoarding Broodlord and Repairs.
Broodlord is a Nombo with Repair, so I suppose I should play Invoke. But I’m stingy with my Rare-cards as mostly F2P.
Been playing this deck for a while. Why not Portal?
Game 3 is why I prefer land ramp. Fucking hate flooding out, AND not getting lands.
U know I really love those skins like the tokens and the card sleeves that are dragon 🐉 rider wish it was on mtg arena would love to buy it if it was there

With all of the ways to fetch plains casting invoke becomes pretty trivial and the additional flexibility and power is worth it
