You do a great job explaining this set up, March 1st I ordered the crevice 3D background from universal rock 7' by 2' for my Central American cichlids 210 tank , thanks to you & Universal rock I received 20% off. I can hardly wait for this too be on my front porch.
Back to Nature has a lot better looking backgrounds IMO....unfortunately they are very hard to get in the states and expensive....aquaterra is pretty good looking too.
Oh my gosh! Do they make this for. 125 dude it’s amazing I could not have asked for a better background like this wow! It’s amazing the ledger on it is perfect the edges covered in speechless !!
These backgrounds look nice but they take up like 20% of your swim space. This makes your 75 gallon effectively like a 60 gallon swim space wise. In a 24” wide tank not a big deal but on a 18” deep or less it is too thick.
Great video, thanks for the share! I just picked up the same tank, 150 tall, from PetSmart for $200! Saved $530 because it didn't come with a stand, oh well, lol. Giving me some ideas on what to do with mine if I don't go salt. Keep it up!

Jay, spoke with you a couple of weeks ago and just received my malawi 125 g wide. I am having a hard time finding a place to drill holes for my 2 FX6s and don't like how bulky the intake looks. I am thinking of drilling holes about 1 1/2 in and leaving both intakes behind the background. Do you think the filters can still effectively do their jobs?

you can bend the holey rock but it dose not hold its shape it snaps right back wish that was pointed out because i bought alot of it under the impression that you can bend this stuff and it barely bends i like it but those videos saying how it bends on their channel is a false add and ticks me off this pertains to the holey rock only new background looks good and happy your sales rep job is doing good you are doing a better job in depth for sure take care jay
check out the vids on the universal rocks channel you did a much better job presenting this product IDK what they had but i bought the same thing and it dosent bend like shown in the vid take care buddy i was trying to meet you at SEC last time you were in town please make another shout out next time your in ga bud would love to meet ya and of course love your channel take care jay :)
just have to say again this is not geared towards you or your channel just feel compelled to inform the new background looks boss ill buy again from them so no worries here hope you take a look jay and maybe you can inform them that whats depicted in their channel is misleading only in the sence that it bends because man oh man dose it bend in their video you will see take care
I know bud, I just wasn’t sure if you knew of them....I have two universal backgrounds in my tanks too...and they are awesome in their own right....their amazon looking ones with roots and trees and stuff I think are second to none

Mine is a PVC and I have nothing to worry about since the background I had purchased doesn't have end clips.

I prefer real silicone. The spray is too many chemicals in it.
