- I was driving down a two-lane highway somewhere in a remote area of Texas and I discovered this private scrap yard that looked very interesting so I stopped, and I asked the owner if I could walk around and check everything out. While walking around, I discovered old tractors, car, parts, trucks, buses, and other types of oil field pipe and salvage. This is a dream property for anybody that likes salvage and vintage machinery. This was an unexpected treasure hunt for me.

The tank on the front of that case tractor was probably an air tank. That canopy made out of heavy iron would be like a roll bar as well. The other thing that take could have been was an axillary fuel tank if that tractor was converted over to run on propane or compressed natural gas. The black Porsche 914 takes me back to my first Porsche. It was a red with black offset 914 with the 2 L five-speed I think 🤔. That was a lot of fun had targa top at plastic top it's amazing it's still not good of shape in Texas. Latches on the corner you put it in the back trunk or maybe it was in the front trunk I don't remember but has both front and rear trunk because it's a mid-engine car. I saw a Thunderbird setting are still need some parts for a 66 Thunderbird for my kids car. That blue tri-five Chevy pickup let's get together and meet in Texas and get it back on the road in about 4 days. That would make excellent content. I know what it would take to get that thing back on the road so just bring all the parts in the back of the truck. Van trailer whatever I want to haul Parts with. I know where I can get a hood for a to I believe. Seriously that would be a great place to become January or February. I saw a lot of nice stuff there this guy has himself quite a treasure trove fantastic job finding it Rob just keep pumping them out. Your videos are real gas man peace ✌️ out. 😳🤣🤣🤣 Seriously great job and I'm only halfway through its I'll leave another comment. Have to help out fighting algorithm.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on that Case tractor! I had not thought about the possibility of an extra fuel tank or air tank. You and one other viewer mentioned the possibility of a propane conversion. If I could take a closer look maybe could figure it out. Ok let’s meet up and try buying that truck!!! That would make a great video , dragging it onto your trailer , towing it down the street and get it running under a shade tree lol . My mechanical experience mixed with your ingenuity and Old Car Legend experience would build the perfect team to get her running fast!!! Thanks for the compliments , I am glad you enjoyed the Texas yard tour!!!
I like your videos raw as you found them , setting where most of us will never see them AND YOU DONT RAMBLE ON about what you think the cars are. Most Have No clue. Be Blessed
Thank you very much!!! I enjoy walking around putting my energy into trying to capture what I think would be interesting to others like us with out all the jabber . I watch a lot of CZcams vintage vehicle channels and sometimes the call outs on make and models takes something away from just relaxing and enjoying the experience. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. God bless you as well. Rob
OH, Another 58 EDSEL, WOWWWW, 😱👌😁👍
One of my favorite cars.
Welcome back Mr Edsel!!! I like the front grill on those!!! Thanks for visiting again here. Take care, Rob
@@joeschlotthauer840
They are in a class of their own!!!
Wow another great yard full of classics! I liked the orange Demon next to the 240Z, but seeing all those early 50s Buicks with straight 8’s sure brought back some memories to when I had my 53 Buick with the straight 8 in it! Thank you for sharing!
I also liked the orange Demon ! Thanks for watching and commenting Jeff
Super Rob ! Made my day !
This was a great video. Tons of very cool stuff.
Thanks Tom!! I am glad you enjoyed the tour! Your friend Ron
Some great patina on those cars
Thanks Dave!! I agree with you and the dry Texas climate is kind to the steel.
I like this one so much I thought I'd come back and watch it again
Thank you my friend. I also like the private type yards found randomly along the way!
Probably the only place in the world to see a Mustang, Porch 914, and Chevy Vega side-by-side
I had not thought about that!!! Yes 🙌
Hi rob thanks for the tour so many cool cars their the old fuel truck would look great in mobil livery . Cheers mate🇦🇺
Thanks Peter!!! That gas truck at the very end was a teaser photo and will be featured in a future video. It was the only one not at this property. Appreciate you as always!!! Cheers from 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good camera work… how much appreciate no talking
This makes me smile because you are the second one to show appreciation of myself not talking too much. I rather put my attention on capturing the real stars which are the relics . Thanks for visiting today. Rob
8:03, converted to propane?
10:54, love to have that bumper and grill.
11:58, that horse collar also.
That might be the case!!!! I had not thought about a propane conversion but you and Car Old mentioned that as a possibility. That front bumper and clip would make a great display! I also like the look of that front end. Thanks for watching and commenting. Rob
Another great video great content some very nice examples I know I 've said it many times but the go.s these car's came from was the best they all look dust free potentially restorable
Mark I also think that when I see the clean rust free steel . Your comment never gets old because I myself look at these and think that way too. Glad you mentioned this again! Take care, Rob
Your living my usa road trip holiday looking at old stuff so cool thanks
Glad you enjoyed it !!! I hope you visit when you can!
Definitely some good stuff
Thanks John! It was a fun place to rest and roam around. I appreciate you watching the video and leaving a comment. Rob
Very cool!!! 👍👍
Thank you !!! This was another fun stop on my road trip adventure.
Propane engines are always clean as a pinhead inside. Those two farmals were some good tractors there. I'd love to have the 450LP. That first partial rig was an old Allis Chalmers C with what I could see anyway. I have 3 of those. The real rusty one next looked to be an F30 Farmall. Don't know for sure. Nice big ol' Case too. The yellow with the big tank was kinda butchered a bit...but I THINK it was a Massey Ferguson Work Bull....don't put any money on it though. If so its considered an Industrial tractor.
The next orange looking one with the missing front metal was an Alis Chalmers WD...about 232 cu in 4 banger. Not a WD45, just a straight WD. The next one appears to be a Ford 800 series LP fired utility tractor. About a 172 cu in 4. At 12:41 that's for sure a little Allis Chalmers C...about 125 cubes. Darn !! You teased me with the one hiding right behind the white dually fuel hauler right there at the end !! LOL.
As always Rob...a fun time loaded with tractors and a lot of other rust !! You snuck in the little 66 (?) white Mustang....I have a 66 and a 67 hiding in the shed too. LOL. but that's another story. Have a stellar evening my So Cal friend !!
You are the Tractor Man!!!!!! You are so knowledgeable when it comes to old tractors . I’m so grateful to have you on my team these days because I enjoy these machines but only learning slowly as I see the the different manufacturers. Thank you very much my friend.
@@gaspumprob Well Rob in the big scheme of all things tractor, I am actually somewhat a midget. There’s a small segment though that I do have a good handle on. I learn something tractor related every single day too !! Enjoy the day my friend.
If the vandals that broke all of the windows should ever become car buffs,
they will kick themselves 😢
I agree with that. I bought a old truck from a salvage yard and almost every window is broken by vandals. 🙁🙁🙁
Tanks more likely ballast or fuel
Massey Ferguson on that old tractor is my guess based on the steering mechanism.
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on it! I like old tractors but have much to learn about them. Thanks for watching the video. Rob
Anything for sale or is he “restoring” everything?
Probably everything is for sale . I only asked about one truck i liked. He is a scrap dealer.
is anything For Sale ?? Tks, Ed/A
I think so but only asked about one truck I liked .
can y pls disclose location?
Honestly I don’t know the exact location. I was on a two lane highway between Bowie TX and Sunset Texas and stumbled across this scrap business. I did not record the address unfortunately and I am not familiar with Texas
Would you be willing to give up the address so I can reach out to the owner about buying some parts off of cars please? Thanks a bunch!
I definitely would be willing but unfortunately I don’t have the address or highway number. I am from California and was taking random roads and highways looking for good video content to capture. I know it was near Sunset Texas but can’t remember exactly where this was.
Wasting to much time looking at scrap tractors
I like scrap tractors 😂😂😂
LOL. Don't listen to him Rob !! LOL. Of course I have a biased opinion. But I like cars and trucks too....
@@tractorman4461 Thanks! I am not letting his comment steer me . I shoot videos of what I enjoy . Gas Pump Rob / Petro Media covers anything vintage that runs on Petro. Anyone has the option to view or fast forward over whatever they do not care to watch. I appreciated his response either way . Everyone has different tastes and preferences. I’m happy to have a diverse viewing group of people.

Thank you for your opinion. Appreciate you watching the video
