Vložit
- čas přidán 20. 03. 2021
- Zack Snyder's Justice League is making waves the world over with the introduction of villains such as Darkseid. So we thought we'd take a look at what are considered to be the best Justice League villains of all time. There's some pretty big omission here so be sure to yell at us in the comments if you could please and thank you. Cheers!

The biggest villain of the Justice League is a universe-crossing Corn of Coblin from Earth-616 of course.
or magenta from the flash
@@willmelucci2989 no thats just a wall west flash villain
He went through the source wall
I KNEW IT!!!
What about Dr. Bones and Bees?
When you said it's the reverse Batman, I was expecting you to make the joke "his parents were criminals, killed by a rich couple and a kid coming out of a theater."
Given how many "reverse Batman" villains there have been, I'm really surprised that hasn't happened.
I mean, his parents were gunned down by cops since they were criminals
Close, but Scott Snyder’s _Robin King_ was an evil Bruce Wayne who killed Joe Chill with his concealed knife, then used Joe’s gun to kill the Wayne’s.... and Gordon... Alfred himself and his psychiatrist Harleen Quinzel. Followed by a handful of DC heroes since it’s still Bruce Wayne.
Last I saw, main Batman and his now dead Bat-family, along with Bane and various other rogues, along with a horde of Jokerized children called Groblins and a resurrected Alfred all ganged up to fuck this kid up.
Scott Snyder is an intense bastard.
BEST ORIGIN STORY. I want this now
Batman's Grave. There's this guy whose father was a gangster who got killed by the police, so the kid grows to become an evil Batman (minus the bat theming, but he is still a very skilled fighter etc etc)
No Brainiac is pretty disappointing.
He’s got a big green face and maybe some metal tentacles sometimes, and in the end isn’t that really what a villain is all about?
Also sometimes the Terminator with a weird head
He's great but he's mainly a superman villain
Sometimes he is just Ultron but with a bottle collection.
@@KCJones99 Darksied was a Superman villain
@@urielgonzalez900 Well if you think about it all of Superman's villains are Justice League level threat lol
Darkseid is pretty intimidating but could you imagine if John Krasinski got his hands on the Anti-Life Equation?
Or worse still Brie Larson!
What's the context of the John Krasinski joke?
@@JesseGayvoronski If Krasinski gets the Anti-Life equation, you should probably move.
@@noahfrost5381 You'll get it once you see his cameo on Falcon and the Winter Soldier
"What is batman without a french joker"
Will never forget this wise phrase.
Wee wee batman
It's my favourite quote from Wandavision episode 8
U mean "Baguette-man", no? Baguette-man & le Joker !
is he inside-out? maybe
I think it's funnier with Spiderman
Starro deserves recognition solely for spawning Jarro, the best Batman son.
Jotaro?
@@dennismathenge6738 batman.fandom.com/wiki/Jarro
Fuck yes! Jarro is awesome and heartwarming. He was great in the death metal event
If a remember correctly Starro was the first menace that Justice League fought.
Isnt Starro gonna be the villain in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad?
They finally released the “You should probably move” cut!!
And jimmy olsen still failed to probably move
I was watching with my friend and we both went, “yeah!” When he said it
I cheered when he said it
@@bobsandwich3431 My brother and I were cheering too lmao
So glad he said it lol
Vandal Savage is my favorite justice league villain. I appreciate his last minute inclusion
He replaces Prometheus in my book
I concur
He's a badass, but I think Warnr wouldn't use him because he is a mastermind of sorts and not a pew pew guy.
The list forgot the ultimate villain, The Corn of Cobin
Or the French Corn of Coblin
Ah, yes, the one character that Marvel and DC share the rights to
Crisis on Infinite Earths may be impenetrably complex, but it is worth it for that sweet, sweet George Perez art, as he gets the chance to draw literally every DC character.
Technically, Darkseid is a Jimmy Olsen villain.
Everyone sleeps on my boi, Trigon. He’s literally one of the most powerful entities in the DC universe and he always steals the panel whenever he pops up.
@@RickReasonnz well yeah he is. His daughter is literally in the team. He’s powerful but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a Teen Titans villain
@@RickReasonnz I agree. He’s their most common Big Bad and because his daughter is on the B-Team people assume he’s a B-Villain. He ABSOLUTELY is NOT.
The star fish villain also should be recognized by any fans of Young Justice.
And justice league unlimited
Did you just call him ‘Star fish villain’ bruh
Star fish....villain....you realize the creature has a name and that name is STARRO
And Batman beyond
He’s also a big fan of captain America, which is why he has his shield tattooed on his star hole.
Vandal Savage should have made the list. He’s a great villian, He’s kinda like Apocalypse without the power. The first super powered human. And he’s lived forever.
So he's like Apocalypse but without the power but he's the first super powered human? xD
@@samuelperezgarcia Yes. He does not have apocalypse power, but he’s the first super powered human. (Since he can live forever.)
“What is Batman without Jhokeer” 😂 “What is Spi-derrr-man” 🤣👏🏽
I'd like to also mention all the big event villains like Maxwell Lord, The OMACs, Superboy Prime, Mandrakk, and recently Perpetua. Probably about half of those could be on my list. The DCAU Thanagarians were pretty cool too. And as much as he is also a Superman villain Braniac as well.
You never want your urologist to say "That's an interesting unit. There's a lot going on there."
Ay Mr Sunday hitting that justice League algorithm. Hit me with your mildly interesting topic while I wait for the big leagues later today on Big Sandwich! No red circles though on that thumbnail, Ben should get a talking too!
It's actually Matt the editor who did this. What a bloody amateur
Ha, got 'eeem!
Maybe the real Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the friends we made along the way
I think it’s time we retire this joke
@@adamfrasher892 Agreed
@@adamfrasher892 every time I see this joke now I just stare at it for a while then let out a huge sigh
Where did this joke even come from? What’s the original
@@jordanflynn527 I think its a film trope. The real treasure was the journey and friends we made along the way or some shit.
I really want a great Justice League movie with Starro the Conqueror as the villain since he was their first villain. But it would work way better for film if Starro were the more recent Cobi version.
It's funny that Starro was mentioned here before that one trailer came out.
He's even in the thumbnail
Biggest Justice League villain: Joss Whedon
Not as bad as STUDIO INTERFERENCE!!!
GOTTEM
Nice
Dan Didio: hold my editorial management
Warner Bros
This list was a joke, ao many major omissions but they left in some... interesting ones. Brianiac and the Legion of Doom are I think the most obvious.
Setting up the Inside Out running gag and then hitting us with some Pixar: best gag in the video.
Plus Batman is sad and Superman is happy
I can’t believe they didn’t include brainiac lol, I feel like he’s one of the first people think of after Darkseid
Brainiac is more of a Superman villain
@@ChadBenjamin True but he was a major villain in the justice league unlimited series...
@@stateyournameplease So was Lex and he's a Superman villain, so was Grodd and he's a Flash villain. Brainiac, Lex and Darkseid's stories started in Superman: The Animated Series, and they were continued in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.
The real villains are the friends we made along the way
I finally watched the tick on Amazon prime it was wholesome despite all the headshot and stabing
Now go watch the boys
@@themadclown4077 yes boss
Starro was used really well in Batman Beyond and Young Justice.
07:30 = That Image of the Crime Syndicate of America Inside Out is all kinds of AWESOME!!
Lol it works surprisingly well
for Matt: Very Nice Curiosity Scream logo at the end there. Way more effort than the joke deserved!!
I love it when you guys do videos like this
“Dad, why is my sister’s name Rose?”
“Because your Mother loves Roses”
“Thanks, Dad”
“No problem, Zack Snyder’s Justice League”
Dead meme and weird obsessive love of a mediocre film
"No problem, You Should Probably Move cut of Justice League."
@@SeanORaigh i love how you are crying about it in every comment box across youtube.....while saying pigeon and bucky was flawless haha
@@SeanORaigh let people like what they like and if you want fresh memes then Mr Sunday comments aren't the place for you dude
@@AmarHujan haha insert the real corn of maclunkey was the friends we meet along the way
vandal savage and lex luthor definitely should have been on the list
Part of the reason why I was put off by legends of tomorrow was their depiction of the Vandal Savage character. Terrible.
@@antfrancis9941 yeah the actor was horrible and they didn't get any thing right
We all need to give it up to Matt for that Dr. Light edit........well done sir. Well done. I don't know if you had the Dr. Light imagge first since it's a well known panel. I like to think you had the picture of the guy and then searched for Dr. Light and saw that image. It could have been the other way around but I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. Well done in either case.
The Justice League's greatest enemy is actually the amorphous, Lovecraftian entity overseeing the success of shared cinematic universes.
Starro is a very phase 1 marvel villain tbh. DC have some really good villains that could be adapted for movies easily. Batman and superman’s rogues gallery especially
Longtime fans here guys......would really love more comic book videos. I get my audio fix over on big sandwich with comique booque club but i love to see what y'all are talking about also. I'm sure Matt won't mind. He does very well with the comic cuts.
The Crime Syndicate actually was introduced in Crisis, just not the Crisis you're thinking of. They used to call the interdimensional crossovers Crisis on Multiple Earths, thus the title of the 80s story.
I'd pay top dollar to see the Justice League face off against the inside-out Injustice League
I love this new character of 'French Joker'! I hope he replaces 'guy who doesn't know what Star Wars is' guy.
This has already aged VERY well
I like when y’all’s episodes spiral out of control lol it’s like you normal episode but...
They’re inside out!
Steppenwolfe used one of the starfish on an Atlantian in the Snyder Cut, it was like a sort of living tech like the mother box. Pretty Cool.
I can’t believe I just saw Birmingham, UK on a Mr Sunday movies video. My life is complete
“... saying their names, saying their powers"... One of the biggest things I miss most in comics nowadays.
Ah yes, constant exposition
Sometimes I pick up a new comic and they don't say their names & their powers and I am immediately lost
I actually love the Crime Syndicate thank you very much lol
Re the editor's note at 1:58, old timey comics used to pull this kind of stuff all the time. Mind-bogglingly intricate plots that could conceivably last an entire year in modern comics' hyper-decompressed style were introduced and resolved in the span of one to two issues.
I mean Vandal Savage should be on this list.
Take Amazo off.
Agreed
and Brainiac too
The justice league animated series did a really cool arc for most things but the whole amazo arc was really cool to me. I don’t remember but I do remember him coming back to lex Luther for revenge on creating him or something and it was great
He was in desperate search of his purpose. It was beautiful and is therefore highly unlikely to ever be adapted on the big screen.
Yeahh that rebooted my memory it was so good. That whole series was what I grew up on (and Batman beyond) and I think it’s my definitive justice league. I remember rewatching and actually liking and buying into the whole Green Lantern and Hawkgirl story. They took their time to tell it and it was so good! Oh and Batman singing
Coming back here after seeing The Suicide Squad to say this video helped me explain to my Dad why there is a giant starfish in the movie
Big opportunity missed to market Big Sandwich as 'Curiosity Stream, but only if you're curious about what James and Maso think'. I'll expect my writers cheque in the post chaps :)
Mason didn't record himself reacting to you should probably move :(
0:32 I can’t stop laughing at this photoshop for a while lol
Kachow! ⚡️
The Starro storyline in the short but great R.E.B.E.L.S run, was my favorite Starro story.
I have never read 'Crisis on infinite earth', I tried once and it was excruciatingly crap. However I own it and do like to pull it out every so often to admire the art of George Perez and I do find it really nice to look at when I need cheering up.
We need a proper Justice League Snyder Cut review. Waiting eagerly
Thanks for the idea for a new hero, guys! "Temperate" is going to be a kid who can make the weather extremely just ok. nothing too crazy for this lad, no siree.
Vandal Savage should have been on this list for sure. Pumped for the JL video review. But can it be done in under 4 hours?
Oh my God I was literally playing Assassin's Creed 2 five minutes ago and that clip comes in at the start. Fucking weird world man.
"A superhero is only as interesting as the villain"
*The MCU would beg to differ!*
They can beg. But the MCU is a homogeneized soap opera which is bereft of their best actors who left the MCU for better opportunities
10:48 "We will repair your TV" -- editor missed the chance to use a clip from Half in the Bag!
That would be VCR repair and I would NEVER mix the two!
So, Star-O, Amaz-O brings to mind the TWPs greatest supervillain: Brand-O (he’s a bad bloke or something).
Never thought I’d see fern cotton make a brief appearance in a mr Sunday movie’s video
John Krasinski's evil twin brother is a pretty good Justice League Villain.
Thanks again
I read Identity crisis, the one where Dr. light does the thing (you know what thing), more then 10 years ago, and it still creeps me out....
Curiosity Scream is actually the opposite of Curiosity Stream. It's just Curiosity Stream turned inside-out.
Damn that morisson jla story is soo good.
I was not mentally prepared for 7:27
Perfect subversion of expectations.
Your fist pumping scream is hilarious
The white Martian comic was brilliant. Especially Le Bat'maan
Professor Zoom/ Reverse Flash would’ve been a notable solo inclusion
I liked the time Green Arrow turned Prometheus into a pin cushion.
This list was probably made before The Batman Who Laughs hit the page, cause he's missing from this list for sure.
You’re certainly entitled to that creative opinion
Ayyy my boy Omar over at near mint condition made a cameo
Darkseids right hand man in Zack Snyder's Justice League, or one of them was Dasaad (is that how you pronounce his name?) Was TJ Miller in Ready Player One and I cracked up at that scene when he is revealed in the Snyder cut because I just pictured TJ Miller's voice coming out of him.
Back here after The Suicide Squad trailer. I guess Starro does have a slick agent.
Did you spot the Starro easter egg in Zack Snyder's Justice League?
The device Steppenwolf used to extract information on the motherboxes from people had a star shape with a bit of purple in the middle.
Starro made a slight appearance or Easter egg in Zack Synder Justice League when steppenwolf was interrogating the atlanteans and the workers of star labs.
Despero- “He’s a fish headed boy” 🤣
Be interested to hear you guys do your personal top 10. There is a very high chance it’ll be better than that website’s 😂
*Prometheus was a great villain on Arrow. One of the best big bads in the whole Arrowverse*
Yeah
AAAAAY the big starfish is in The Suicide Squad!
1. Darkseid
2. Vandal savage
3. Lex Luthor/ Injustice League
4. Crime Syndicate
5. White martians
6. Brainiac
7. Starro
8. Mongul
9. Thanagarians
10. Trigon
Sad that there is no Vandal Savage or Black Lantern Corp on that list.
Or brainiac
Nekron the Black Lantern is a much needed inclusion
I’m a fan of the solo characters and not really the team as a whole but my favourite villain would have to be the legion or not the justice league but the fatal five
I was hoping this video would be the exact same as an old video but there was an added seven minutes at the start of James or Maso screaming.
One of the guys from Auntie Donna cuts in at the end to set up a sequel that'll never happen lol
I agree about vandal savage.
cant wait to see the new spi derman vs french joker comic
Favorite assassins creed cameo, the Kraken.
Beautifully chaotic
[HashTag]: Release the ‘Last Airbender’ CoG!
Vandal savage has always been a bad ass would love to see a good live action depiction of him.
I’ve read grant Morrison’s JLA with the white Martians it’s good
I love the Hyperclan
Thank goodness we got the #YouShouldProbablyMove Cut
Does Batman count? In Tower of Babel he'd come up with ways to neutralise each member of the JLA - it was Ra's al Ghul that actually did them, I guess, but they were Batman's ideas!
Given how many entries in this list were some variation on "the Justice League, EXCEPT...!" I feel like Batman is already sort of in there.
Maybe the real Justice was the Leagues we made along the way.
