When I don't go to church for a while God reminds me that I'm supposed to be there to encourage others. It isn't all about us. It's about our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Totally agree. We haven't been to church in 2 years. I'm waiting on my husband to make a decision on which church we'll go to. Praying God will lead him. Not going to church really effects you spiritually, and makes it feel like you aren't apart of God's body.

@@WeAreRoyalty7 I am saved, as is my husband. I had an encounter with the true and living God 7 years ago, and He brought me out of atheism. I was a backbiter, a hater of God, filled with a lot of pain and trauma but Jesus radically changed my heart and life. But since we moved to a new state, I've been waiting on my husband to pick a church for us. I believe a wife is to submit to her husband, and the husband is to lead his family, as per what the scriptures state so am waiting and praying faithfully. God supplied us with a church family in the past, and I have faith He will again and He will move my husband as He did once before.

I started playing piano by ear when I was 4. Our pianist retired this year. I prayed that I would be allowed to step up in our struggling church even though I’m not the best, and I can’t read sheet music, God gave me that position!

Your gift is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!! I have a friend the Lord blessed with this gift ✨. Last week, I was reeeaallllyyyy going through it and all kinds of lies were coming into my head. She happened to reach out to me that same day. I shared my struggle with her, and through her God-given gift, she was able to encourage me in such a way that made my outlook on my circumstance change for the better. I honestly do not know if I would be here this week if it wasn't for that powerful, yet simple word of encouragement. God is good!!! This gift can save lives. I praise God for your gift.

I actually called the number one time and they didn't answer but then they texted me. It's definitely a scam.
I called one of those numbers as well and it was directed to a bitcoin representative, don't take the bait, it's actually illegal. Bit coin is wealth passed around but these guys are sharks, they claim they're generating wealth but they're not and I got some insight from the holy spirit that they can send a mob after you to gaslight you and make you think you're insane. Avoid at all costs.

I’ve had an experience that caused the people of the church to keep me from serving and since that I took the time to come closer to God and use my gifts in my platform, and I’ve been edifying my brothers in Christ since. Not even having to be in a church. 😊
After listening to this, I did a self examination and I am thankful to say that I continuously use my gift of Exhortation. Now that I'm thinking about it, I use it unknowingly. I use Mercy as well. Often times mercy and exhortation go hand and hand 😃

I'm one of those that doesn't see my spiritual gift. I mean... I'm trying to do something... but I feel like whatever I do basically amounts to throwing stuff against a wall to see what sticks... so far, nothing.
LOL ! Jake ONLY the Holy Spirit can train you yo manifest your gift. He can do this through a human being in your life too. The GIFT cannot be shown until you are ready .... You are consencrated by The Holy Spirit. Read Romans Chapter 6.

Thanks brother parr for stepping on my toes, that's exactly what I have been doing minimizing my gifts, I've been thinking what have I got the Lord hasn't blessed me with any great gifts and I heard the spirit say that is a lie of the devil my son, immediately was brought to my mind the conversations I have had with my cousin and my friend, that's my gift to help those who are in need not necessarily financially because I don't have anything and in fact my cousin has sent me money but I've helped her spiritually when she was feeling down that's what the spirit is saying feed my sheep.
Everyone needs to evangelize, that's the only way you can produce fruit...

Sometimes we can fall into abusing a gift that we don't really have, like prophecy or evangelism.

True, but sometimes we don't have the grace to do it, instead of planting a seed we think we'll get an immediate conversion right away, I know because I've been guilty of that.

Romans Chapter 6
Glad you brought this to light, Allen. I hear of so many, wanting to be noticed with their spiritual gift/s, or talents within the Christian community. Even if we don't mean to do so. Everybody wanting to be on stage! I'd, rather serve in the background knowing, God, sees me, rather than wanting all eyes on me for anything, I, do. And that's coming from myself that (my flesh) desires to be the centre of attention... And if we are downplaying any of the spiritual gifts, we are downplaying His work.
The very powerful, great, and glorious Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, Atheists, Agnostics, etc. just act, speak, think and believe that they are intelligent, better, powerful, greater, higher, and superior than the Creator, Jesus Christ, and all Writers of the Bible but too arrogant, dumb and foolish to know and understand that -
1. Ordinary and lowly human beings who believe Jesus Christ's TRUTHS and righteousness about the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead" are not worthless and foolish but kind, loving, and submissive human beings who will be rewarded and honored by the CREATOR with ETERNAL LIFE and existence on earth without without sufferings, griefs, pains, sickness and deaths.
2. the "Kingdom of God" or "Rulership of God" through Jesus Christ is not worthless and useless but a kind and loving "Rulership" that will ensure planet earth is safe, secure, peaceful and without arrogant, cruel, and hateful persons, without liars, slanderers, deceivers, hypocrites, terrorists, and criminals.
3. the CREATOR is not worthless and useless but in his own good time, he will lovingly let Jesus Christ resurrect back to life all loving, kind, and obedient human beings who died even thousands of years ago like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, King David, Daniel, his Christ's disciples, all the Writers of the Bible, and many others so they can fully enjoy his and his Christ's eternal love, kindness, compassions, generosities, favors, and blessings for eternity as submissive and obedient subjects of the "Kingdom of God" under the loving rulership, guidance, and protection of his Chosen King and Ruler, his Christ.

I remember when I first started my Christian walk, I would hear other Christians talk about their gift and found myself asking God to give me that gift also, not fully understanding what I was asking 😅 so silly! Thank goodness for God’s patience! Years later, I know my gift and I now ask the Lord to show me how to use it daily to do His Will. This has been a powerful study, Allen. The problem is Alan that I have a really good spiritual gift. I can discern between lies and truth. But because every single church that I have ever been to couldn’t be bothered by me because I don’t offer as much money in the offering plate as a nurse or lawyer because I’m a measly housekeeper. They couldn’t be bothered to listen to anything I say.
The Bible says we as the Body of Christ are the church. The physical building is not the church. Churches have become a business these days and I’ve steeped away from them and I’ve grown so much in my walk since separating myself from the physical building. Just talking to someone about the Lord is church, getting with friends and discussing God is church. So many think the building is the church but it’s our physical bodies that’s the church. I feel you on the money thing. I once belonged to a church that put so much time into preaching why we need to tithe and when it came time to put money in the dish the pastor would sit and watch who was tithing.
@@TheSilkieMomma yes I definitely understand that the body of Christ is the human body and not a building. I have since walked away from church for around ten years now. And I share my faith with others and my faith in Jesus has definitely grown as well . I was beyond fed up with the judging. I use my gift by praying a lot for others.

Look at Romans Chapter 6 on how to live a consencrated life.

don't aloud the gifts to flow in it's bodies. The Pastors and it's small group are the gifts for the Church. Most Churches don't aloud the members gifts shine.
When I have my life to Christ 3 years ago immediately I wanted to talk to everyone about God. I have the gift of discernment and I feel called to teach. I also have dreams and I’ve been stepping into my gift of interpreting dreams. I’m take whatever he gives to me. The Bible says the Holy Spirit gives according :)

Allen, I think we must be related---I totally agree with you on everything!!! I guess I have just had a great background in the Bible and am still digging in it. I was raised in a Christian home. My parents were gifted with VISION!!!! Not matter where they were --dad was in the Air Force--the would either help start a church or build one up. Then after the AF, God sent them to Las Vegas--mom cried the whole way-they were from Alabama!!! Oh, how they were used there, then later they "retired" to Arkansas for 35 years--they went to a very small old church--well that Vision -helped their church grow and grow. They served the Lord together for 73 years of marriage!!! They went home in 2014--God took the gently, and I am so thankful---I have severe Lupus --they helped me so much in so many ways.--I am an RN--I know my Spiritual gift--love and encouraging and healing---MDs' would always ask me why I didn't go on to medical school!!! The last 4+ years I have been home bound--I still pray for others and send out cards and emails.
This message is important for people to understand. I am convinced (and teach) that some of our most powerful spiritual battles are won simply by how we live out daily lives in front of others. If we fall on hard times (and we will) others will be watching how we handle it. If we get through with some kind of that "joy of the Lord" or that "peace that passes understanding", not complaining or blaming others then when people around us start to go through those hard times they will want to know how we did it. That is when those "smaller/insignificant gifts" (from our perception anyway) such as encouragement, faith, wisdom, etc. can be more powerful and have more effect on someone (and the kingdom) than the best preached Gospel message ever.
Many people seem to lose sight of the fact that it may take 10+ good Godly influences on someone before they will begin to even consider God. You may be #3 in that list of 10 and may not see the effects soon or even in this lifetime. I think that causes many people to think their gift is not important and will stop using it to some degree, why bother it makes no difference (lie from the enemy). You never know what the seeds you are planting, watering or nurturing today will produce in the future. I think many things we do we will not know until we get to heaven and either hear from those people directly we impacted or God shows us how it all connected together.
Never think you or your gift is insignificant. You many not be affective at the moment because sometimes God has to send us through a "season of training" to be able to use those gifts more effectively. You may be in that season of training now, being prepared to do way more than you ever imagined. I know, I walked away from God for a while because I thought I was not effective. Looking back now I see there was more training/preparing for me to do before I could really start doing things for Him effectively.
Some people have more than one gift and God can change that gift to the need of the lord for a different purpose. Don't feel that the gift you have today is the only one you will get.
God Loves You Remember That
One gift: pneuma hagion, Christ in us. The Hope. The Glory. Nine manifestations of the spirit. Tongues-perfect prayer to YHWH. Tongues with interpretation and prophecy for gatherings. Based on one’s beliefs and believing is what manifestations your capable of manifesting. All according to The Word.
Our one time gift given on the day of Pentecost.
Praise YHWH in Christ’s name, amen.
Our LORD GOD deserves and shall receive ALL the honor, Glory, credit, acknowledgement, thanks, praise, and everything we are to give unto Him as our LORD GOD according to His instructions Amen KING JESUS CHRIST IS LORD GOD AMEN AND HALLELUJAH!! ✝️👑🦁🕍💒🙏🏻❤️🙌🏻💞❤️🔥💯💖💪🏼

This is an exciting and powerful truth and encouragement. The really good news is that these gifts that are given by the Spirit of God, are given to every human being for the benefit of other human beings. God did not limit His kingdom and operation to only "Christians". Jesus is the savior of ALL men, especially of those who believe. WE were born again (the entire human race, including Adam) when Crist rose from the dead, according to Peter. Some many people are not even aware of what God has already done in their lives and that is the joy of evangelism, bringing people to the awareness that they are the offspring of God (Acts 17) and they have an inheritance. Truly good and transforming news.

This is such a great word! The topic of spiritual gifts is so necessary to empower and educate the believer to step into and pour into the body of Christ, the church. I’ve been attending a bible believing church that holds securely to biblical truth. However after attending for a couple years notice it’s not really growing. The church was established I think 20 plus years ago and they still meet in a hotel. Obviously the church is made up of the people and it doesn’t bother me that the pastor refuses to go into debt over a mortgage and is trusting God to provide the money needed to build or own a physical church in His timing. But, I do know one spiritual gift God has blessed me with is glorifying Him and potentially others through praise and worship in song. Unfortunately I’ve offered to volunteer however they see fit and did advocate that the worship team is a place I feel called, but because the pastor holds that position in higher regard, one must commit to refraining from alcohol completely. I did grow up with an alcoholic father and then stepfather and then was previously married to an alcoholic. Therefore I absolutely recognize the devastation alcoholism has, and I only consume alcohol very seldom with my current husband, typically in a celebratory manner and never to the point of drunkenness. I thankfully don’t have any sinful desires with alcohol and don’t abuse. I’m also conscientious of others who do struggle with that sin and would use discernment to not do anything to cause a brother to fall. Point being, I now feel as if I’m not being used as God desires but have resigned that perhaps it’s not God’s timing for me to use that particular gift yet. That perhaps I need to first be convicted in that area about giving up alcohol completely before God will use that gift to serve others in the body. Or is this a legalistic way my church, which otherwise is very biblically strong, is forming their rules. Could this be why they aren’t growing? Is this typical in other churches? I mean I wouldn’t necessarily argue that say a pastor should refrain from alcohol completely, but then again is there biblical support for this argument? I know the Bible says to be sober minded but also many people including Jesus drank wine moderately. I watched a pretty unbiased video on this topic by Matt Winger (I believe that’s his name) lol. Thanks for your thoughts, I want to be used by God and walk in His will for my life, to glorify Him and be used by Him!
Just because every believer has a spiritual gift does not mean every believer will walk in that gift !

@@J_a_s_o_n I get the point, but don’t know if I agree. He EXPECTS US to use them….we two are ONE FLESH (Eph 5)…. The gifts are expressions of His love… Why wouldn’t he expect us to manifest them all the time. Also, how would you know if he’s telling you to use them or not… At that point it becomes pretty subjective. I don’t think you’d say the same thing about the fruit of the Spirit… When we are to manifest, love, joy, peace, etc.
My grandmother just passed on the 8th, on the 7th I called my brother and was gonna tell him that sombody gonna die the next day cuz I had the feeling but I quickly hung up the phone caused I didn't want to speak it into existence. I miss her so much

Enjoy the videos! Some questions after watching your videos on spiritual gifts which were well done! Do you think worship leading or singing are spiritual gifts? Also if gifts were given when we became Christians, it would seems some people already had spiritual gifts before they became Christians and before they use them for the church. (ie leadership, teaching). (btw: I think parable of the talents is in Matthew 25:14-30)

I realize Allen felt called to produce a message to encourage people to use their gifts (even if they think it insignificant) but It seems obvious that the most important point is "the gifts are given to edify (build up) the body of Christ (the church)" - Love is always U B4 Me! Too many so called 'gifted Christians' view their gifts through the lens of the 'self centered flesh' - the default position. "It's all about me" is the attitude that is too prevalent. That's why 1 Cor 13 (the famous love chapter) is sandwiched between the 'gifts' chapters. YMMV.

@ Allen... I love this message, but I am having a very hard time understanding something. I know I have a gift. I have premonitions... but always in part and never when I look for it... but only when God tells me. I don't always know who the information is for.... and if I don't know who to help... how is my gift helpful and how could I use it differently? My position is to sit and wait for info... I dont know how else to use this gift. Thank you in advance for reading this. 🙏
Btw... it ALWAYS becomes apparent who it was about after it happens... but why do I feel like I get information that I can't do anything with?

Pray God lifts the scales from the lukewarm and lost eyes, opens their ears and soften their hearts. Pray God brings revival to the earth. Pray the Lord of Harvest send forth laborers into the harvest. Pray God strengthens His children, gives them more discernment and wakes them up 🎉
