- After spending, what I can only describe as, a scintillating fortnight in Dubai, I decided to book Etihad for my flight back to London. On this route the Abu Dhabi carrier was using their newly acquired 787-10s, featuring the newest iteration of their Business Studio seats.

Agreed, the only downside is that these videos make all the other flight reviews somewhat underwhelming
I was in the Etihad business lounge last year on my flight from KL to Zurich. They were really nice to me, even though I was a blubbering mess, as I had found out a really good friend had passed away just before I got on my flight in KL. Might have gotten a few stares while I was on the phone with his wife, but I didn’t care, but the staff were really kind when they found out what had happened.

The quality would not be the same. The reason why I personally love the content is because he presents the perspective of a person that works and also travels. Especially his vocabulary and comedy that has an academic background.

The music and aesthetics are calming and I like that. The seat looked really small, the lower part. I don't like most of the virtual flight simulator shots but maybe that's just me, some are really nice. You have an original style :) Love it!

Businness class seats in Etihad look impressive over the 777 seats in Emriates but Emirates at least appears to be slightly better in terms of service - more exotic amenity kits, availability of mattress pads and better and spread out meal service

Absolutely LOVE your videos! The graphics, descriptions and humor are absolutely fantastic!! I spent several years in the UAE so I’ve flown on Emirates, Etihad and Qatar plenty of times..
I’m watching my favorite CZcams again. I enjoy his seriousness about the tour and features, but also love his humor.
Too bad showers were closed. They really are nice after a long haul flight.
I was able to enjoy on a return trip to US from Bangkok with a 6 hour layover in Abu Dhabi on July 4th, just as a reference. It is a nice lounge with good food considering the circumstances and a seemingly extensive bar, but I don’t drink, so I couldn’t comment fully. Overall, a very nice experience for a pretty lengthy layover. Also, loved the pre-clearing US customs right at the airport in Abu Dhabi, just saved a lot of time and hassle versus going through in US at JFK. I would definitely transit through Abu Dhabi on my next trip.
I shouldn’t forget the staff, so pleasant and accommodating…really nice!
By the way, my seat in business was 5H on all 4 legs. I wouldn’t recommend on busy flights, because it’s right next to bathroom and it was crazy traffic to and from all night long. My first two legs were almost empty, so it was fine with fewer people. Actually, on my second leg into BKK I was alone in business, super sweet! I was flight crew’s ONLY customer…quite nice!
If you are 6ft or more the legroom sucks! The footwell almost comes to a point and forces your feet into an uncomfortable position jammed together. This needs re-engineering! It was difficult for me to sleep, but on this long a flight you wind up passing out from the exhaustion of travel.
Agreed on the steak sandwich! It was very tasty, and if I was more hungry would have begged for another!
