12:12 Backlash of changing trainers for AJ?
15:40 Who has the better legacy AJ or Fury?
19:30 is Dom ingle a fan of Tyson Fury?
22:39 Outro
Who got the furthest? Is it Fury though? AJ in a 2x unified champ with a far better resume and more title defences. Fury hasn’t beaten the men who dethroned Joshua, so lets not give him credit for those.
Tyson Fury has only beaten one top class opponent in Klitschko then after that he cherry picked. Yes Wilder can 'bang' and Fury instead of fighting Joshua has boxed Wilder 3 times, each time easier than the first time. Can't agree that a fit Fury will beat a fit Joshua, I've always believed Joshua has Fury's number and I definitely think Usyk will be too good for Fury. Always enjoy listening to Dominic, he talks sense without becoming too emotional.
All their resumes are pretty woeful let's be honest. AJ's may be slightly deeper but when you break it down, both him and Fury have beaten Klitchko and Fury's beaten Wilder twice. That's the only difference in my book. I don't buy into AJ's 2X World Champion narrative. Break it down and one was Charles Martin who was gifted the title in the first place then Klitchko which was his biggest win by far. Yes it was quite early in his career but we're really splitting hairs here. Let's judge therm all when it's all over. Wilder's CV isn't even worth mentioning. Fury's been in the game longer but he didn't have all the Olympic stuff behind him that AJ had.
and what's the point in AJ having all these top trainers if he doesn't listen (aka Usyk) or just reverts to type when the proverbial hits the fan. 🤷♂
@@peteappleby2291Tbf AJ and Fury have both beat Vlad & both beat Whyte, the other 5 of Furys top opponents consist of Wilder, Wallin, Chisora, Schwartz & Hammer, AJs consist of Usyk, Ruiz, Povetkin, Parker, Pulev.... 3 of which are still active top 10 fighters with ring magazine and the other 2 were both top 10 at the time of fighting them, so there is quite a vast difference in quality when you look outside of the 2 guys theyve both beat. plus AJ has been a pro for less time than Fury and he was an amateur for less time too. and if we look at their amateur records AJs was shorter but again he fought much better opponent, Fury best amateur oppinent was David price who actually beat him, AJs top amateur opoonents were Whyte, Wallin, Zhang, Hrgovic & Erislandy Savon from cuba. AJ has done it the hard way in my eyes. maybe not as naturally gifted as Fury and doesnt have an unbeaten record but hes always took challenges head on, if they both retiree today, i think Joshaua has achieved more in boxing than Fury has. yes the titles he won were seperated when Fury had to sit out for 2 year knowing he wss getrinf a dooing ban, but he wont them titles and defended then on multiole occasions. Fury won the titkes in a smash and grab and never defended then against any too heavyweights. and as the old saying goes, good fighters can win world title, grrat fighters defend them. other than beat a 39 year old Vlad and Wilder i dotn think Fury has done much with his career at all, hes spwnt most of it fighting average opponents looking for an easy ride and desperste to keeo his unbeaten record, thats not a true chanpion in my eyes..
(apologies for the essay) 🤣
@@paulnewton3059I agree. I'd rather see Joshua fight Fury over Wilder.
How Dominic simplified every aspect of boxing is different class, that's wat a real trainer does big respect 👏
Thanks mate, really appreciate your feedback. Kind Regads - D. Ingle - xxx
A man who understands something in its entirety can simplify it for those who can’t .
His a good lad I grew up with him and trained in same gym but I got big injury that put me out they said I would of been the next big thing if I didn’t let the drink n drugs n rock n role lifestyle take over I still look back and what I could of been if I didn’t get injury and all the fanni
Larry Holmes had the best heavyweight jab I've seen
Holmes had an awesome jab.
I think his jab is still better than some of the top professionals now.
I think he had one of the best in the history of the sport. @@Davidhughes9467
Dominic is absolutely class at explaining his answer, the way he breaks down the fight inside the ring and outside is the ring is phenomenal.it’s clear to see why so many people/ fighters trust him.oh my claim to fame was I used to go out with a girl called Leah ingle in Ireland a place called monkstown farm is south Dublin and she’s related to the ingles in Sheffield.keep up the good work lads love the channel ❤
The best thing Josh could do, is phone up Dom and ask him to train him. Forget the rest if he wants to win and, IF Dom agrees!! 👍🥊🇬🇧
That’s a good shout, it would be like when Ricky went to Russia!
Doubt aj wants a trainer that would drink his sweat
nah dom aint the man for AJ at all, other than brook who has dom actually took to elite level? Ben has took Taylor top p4p top 10 and wood from domestic level to 2 time world champion and Ben aint even 30 years old yet 🤣
For instance look how Wood dealt with Lara in both fights (yes he got KOd in the first fight through his own mistake but won every round before that and won all 12 rounds in the rematch) then look how Galahad dealt with kiko martinez who was a similar style to Lara but not as good ... got battered for the whole fight and stopped and has lost 3 of his last 5 lol
I do rate Dom but i think his fighters rely too much on movement and trying to be cute and theyre not tough enough, and it doesnt helo that most of his fighters are constantly body sparring and then he wonders by they get clipped on the head all the time. When you body spar 3 days a week and onoy head spar once a fortnight it gives you bad habits and leaves you open in fights
One of the best Fury Rimmer.
Even Eddie doesn't know if he's lying or telling the truth these days
What's he's senile
The over-rating of Fury is so annoying. I think Ngannou's style was based on AJ, so I'd like to see AJ have a crack at Fury. Usyk goes in as favourite against Fury.
A.J isn't as robust, physically or mentally as Ngannou.
Exactly, AJ is a big guy, he's Ngannou size and when AJ was on the weights a few years back he was a unit. I agree with you AJ style is bad for Fury
I prefer Fury for Joshua over Wilder. I think Joshua smashes him. To hear so called experts speak, you would think AJ had no boxing ability at all. I genuinely don't see what's so special about Fury.
Nothing wrong with Aj trying to find winning formula, so is he supposed to stick with something that doesn’t work wow people the jealousy is real people always talk bad whether u do good or bad he is his own man get over it
They all hate him, but can't keep his name out of their mouths because he keeps them relevant. Carl Froch is a nightmare for it.
@@houseofaine8948 lol Carl frock mad because Aj broke his Wembley record
hearing dom ingle talk about tactics does not wash with me....for years .. ive watched fighters come out of the ingle gym only knowing how to box one way...when things are not going their way they never have a plan B..the ingle method (jab/move/switch) is great when its going their fighters way....but its rigid..they cant switch to plan B, rough the opponent up, let the bombs go and throw caution to the wind..just my observation..they just seem to let the loss happen by sticking to plan A (the ingle method)
Cracking interview, always here for doms interviews, talks sense.
As a main advisor to Kell Brook, Dom should not have let Eddie hearns dollar signs over his eyes blindly persuade Kell to take the Golovkin fight.
Kells a fighter who sees in black and white of course he’s not scared of a fight but Dom should have known better. Kells career was on a belting trajectory at welterweight and it all got dismantled with the eye injury and the weight going up and down too fast.
Kell should and would have had an emphatic win against Spence but he was in tatters after the GGG fight. He would have had more world title defences and unification opportunities at welterweight but the GGG fight blew him out of the water and he had to salvage his career after that. The khan win was great for Kell though to close the curtains on a high ending that long rivalry in a savage fashion
Crawford has the best jab in the game... and it's with either hand... but Crawford's south paw jab is elite elite.... I'd even back him to beat floyd if Floyd was around today
We all needed that BRUTAL HONESTY fix.
Love hearing this dude talk. NO HOMO.. along with Fearon n Nelson. They break things down splendidly👌🏾
Ben didn’t want to be guilty by association and wanted to keep that distance
Best boxing content on CZcams, great interviews
Appreciate that
Anthony can train with superman it'll make no difference
Superman was a top boxing trainer, must have missed that part…..
@@jasonphillip1966 I sense a hurt anthony joshua fan
these interviews with the trainers are good. but dom is top dog, 'within' the trainers circle. straight to the point,no bull or express of his own agenda, he just talks sense.
Tyson moved to Sugar Hill from a position of strength! Comparing apples and oranges here!
AJ sought new trainers after a crisis!
No nonsense individual.. Top trainer.. Same as Tibbs. The proof is in the pudding. They trained the best in the business 🥊💥🥊
Who is the best he has trained?
@@dapz7763Kash Ali, Nicola Adams, Jake Ball, Tyan Booth, Kell Brook, Leo D'Erlanger, Kid Galahad, Jordan Gill, Willy Hutchinson, Jason Quigley, Billy Saunders, Atif Shafiq, Nadeem Siddique, Liam Williams,

@@Eireannach1988kash Ali hahahahaa
Dominic Ingle talks so much sense. For me if Fury thinks he's lost the spark then he should retire and if he thinks he can still get up for the fights then he should fight on two times more against Usyk and Joshua then call it a day because if he still has the spark he beats both imo.
And i 100% belive hes wrong on the aj beating fury scenario. Styles makes fights and i belive joshua is all wrong for fury stylistically
Tyson doesn't give me the impression he's still got the hunger anymore.
Tyson gives me the impression he’s run out of road and can’t sell the idea of him being some great fighter any more. He’s been found out.
Contact sport is a funny world to be in. They are all similar. They have similarities across the board. Dom gives a good realistic view of professional boxing.
F*** now I’m gonna be stuck with the word TACTICS in my head all day today 😂
I like this interview - first time I’ve listened to dom past 5 mins .. good insights. Thanks
Whyte was completely outboxed by fury and with aj it was a battle
That’s the difference
Whyte was washed up when he fought Fury, facts.
It was early in Joshua's career, he fought a far better Whyte than the Whyte that lost to Fury.
@@paulnewton3059no he didn't. Whyte was absolutely riddled with injuries and had to have shoulder surgery after the fight. Whyte didn't have the experience of top level either.
@@Tommy-pz2yc So Whyte was carrying injuries against Fury. I was right then, Joshua fought a much better Whyte than Fury did???
Top guy to listen to
Great interview.

great content, boxing king media is blowing the bedroom vloggers out of the water
Facts
Well said dominic
The best AJ can beat the best Fury. However Fury would still be the favourite
HELL NOO. AJ told you himself..he's not a 12 round fighter.
Personally I think the best aj went after he got a good hiding off a fat Ruiz, just my opinion 👍🏼
Can't say I've ever seen the best AJ because I've never been that impressed with him.
Joshua is all washed up he’s scared to let his hands go & wilder hurts him soo bad he retires him permanently! That’s if Hearn ever let’s he’s boy fight wilder which is doubtful
Shelly finkle never let wilder fight klitschko and was the manager of both.
Aj should dominate Wilder
@@flipspearing He will if they ever meet in the ring.
AJ is scared of Wilder……he scared to even say his name or call him out😮….both he and Eddie know AJ will get smoked……he’s not a warrior, Fury & Wilder are…
@@lordcostner AJ fought the better opposition and wilder ducked everyone. Name me wilder top 5 opponents?
I love Dom
Proper honest straight guy
👏 👏
If Ben Davison is part of AJ’s career then AJ will lose. Fury got rid of this guy because he is next to useless. Freddie Roache called him out for being useless when he worked with him during one of Fury’s fights. AJ seems to have completely lost direction. He is now officially a rudderless ship. He is just out for the money and it appears he will make money regardless of who he fights and loses to. Britain has no credible trainers. That’s why all the best British fighters go to the USA. A few exceptional British fighters have made it in spite of poor trainers but the ones who have been the most successful have had to go to the USA, same as the Russians, Chinese, the Germans, everyone from around the world who wants top success have ended up training in the states. British trainers are poor tacticians. Hopkins was a much better fighter than Brook for a reason. One of the things they do in American sports even in the NFL and NBA is each athletes studies the opposite number. If what is being said here is true, then that probably explains why most British fighters fail at the very top level.
Top work again
The jab is the key. True words.
Just says it as he sees it fair play dom….knows his shit tbf
Always speaks a lot of sense our dom imo , great trainer great bloke 💪.
Dillian Whyte and Wladimir Klitschko are common opponents
We meant in the sense of where one of them has lost to a common opponent
Give this guy the MBE
Is it just me or is Dom’s biceps looking scary 💪🏽🤣🤣
I disagree that Roy Jones loses interfere with his legacy. He reached the highest heights and did things that no other fighter has done... i dont see how his no longer being elite in his 40's really diminishes that.
Top fella dom could listen to him all day
Trainer like Boot are reason why few boxing fans think Frury is the best with no facts. As if Fury has beaten all these other top HW boxers, yet still AJ has the best resume.
AJ has lost 3 fights Fury's lost 0, Wilder almost murdered Helenius and Breazale in 1 round AJ fiddled with them for 8-9 rounds
Aj is washed .
@@darrenslater6327Fury has fought a lot of nobody's though.Could you imagine the abuse AJ would get if he had fought Otto Wallin back then.
@@iandixon9675 name one top fighter AJ has beat that Fury couldn't that's the difference.
AJ best resume by far.
I just love this interview Boxing King Media. Being a boxing coach myself it was very interesting to hear Dominic's views on coaches. I do agree with him on what is the sense of trying to teach a boxer tactics or certain scenarios that could come about in the fight if a fighter cannot absorb the information ? Hence the reason I teach Cus's system aka Peek a Boo boxing. We just rely on the system. No plan's ; no scenarios no studying other fighters . Mike Tyson proved this . He never studied other fighters just relied on the system . In my opinion I do not think Ben with AJ is going to be a good fit. Ben complicates matters ; too much information is given to the fighter by Ben . Fighters are led to believe that the more information you have the more likely you will be successful however in my opinion less means more. I would of liked AJ to continue with Derrick James. Derick James teaches a system based upon physics and it would of been worth while seeing whether that his system would work with AJ.
Actually, Mike studied all the old fighters, he said it during one of the many interviews he's done.
@@TallmanChris I am talking about before his fights. He never study the fighter before his fights with them. Steve Lott my mentor told me this
I get what you mean for the guys he fought, he relied on his tactics and training from Cus and Rooney
Dom and Peter Fury are the two trainers I have the most respect for. I believe and listen intently to what they say. Straight shooters No BS.
Interesting to hear he's not as a big a fan as Brendan (his old man).
He's right about Fury though. Only man that can beat Fury at HW is Fury. The best Fury beats the best Usyk or AJ.
No hes been using ben, whilst in the uk for tactics and keeping fit/sharp. But DJ is head coach for camps etc.
I love listening to Ingle, but no one thought Jones would be Calzaghe
They got ABC to 😂
This aged well 😅
Dom Ingle is just another Tyson Fury sycophant trying to deflect from the fact that Fury got dominated by a 0-0 MMA guy that has never laced up a boxing gloves 😂😂😂. With sycophant like this no wonder he underestimated Ngannou
Bens got letters after his name . PE
Freddie Roach worked alongside Davison for one fight let's not forget.
dont forget tony sims mate he trained AJ
Oh man yeah
AJ SHOULD GO. AND SPEND A FEW WEEKS WITH MIKE TYSON, AND LET MIKE TYSON TRAIN HIM. COZ HE WILL LEARN MORE AND WILL IMPROVE HIS AGRESSION AND ATTACKING ABILITY, ASWEL AS LEARNING, HOW TO BANG PEOOPLE USING ALL HIS PUNCHING POWER. 1MILLION PERCENT.
It's only for this fight as its 6 weeks out
Great comment about ADHD and other neurodiverities, I wonder how many boxers have a undiagnosed neurodiversity
🎉 18:36 18:37
The interviewer and interviewee sound like they are the same person.
Trainers like this is the reason boxing will and does take years to catch up to other sports 😢
Plz explain
Dominic, I think Joshua should ask you to train him this time out 🥊 On another subject I didn't realise how round your head is ... Perfectly spherical ...
Best in the buissnes
AJ changes trainers more often than people change their underwear.
Still trains with Rob McCracken
Both fought kevin Johnson too
Can you flick the mic more that you 3 times mush
He needs something because the rest of his body just doesn't move. He's SLOW, and over hyped. Back to basics and reinvent before it's too late because I don't see him winning another fight based on his last few bouts.
Period.
Could be a good move. Ben knows boxing has a good knowledge of boxing
He's done well to be fair when you look at it on the whole, he's proved me wrong for one.. think he would work better for fury preparing for usyk.
Joshua was us with Errol spence trainer
Aj is fake. He either pretends to be a nice guy or he pretends to be a gangster. Here he can do what he wants he’s rich but he acts like a numpty. The way he acted at that presser was madness. Like a child, everyone goes on about fury well Ajs just as bad
4:40 It's Triple R
Dom Ingle not biased towards Fury? Lol
Did Dominic train Kell Brook😅😅😅
Don and kell created the blueprint to beat GGG.
Ben Davidson is a 🤡 good trainer 😂😂😂😂
I love dom but he is already making excuses for Tyson
Sorry but it wasn’t brutal enougg fioe me BKM
Love and appreciate dom great boxing brain, but you have to take it all with a pinch of salt as with all trainer's. They all have different opinions and all great in there own way and appreciate and see the sport in therenown way. Doms had one world class fighter that hes trained and thats stuck with him (to a certain degree) in kell brook. You could argue his game plan/tactics etc are outdated and lacluster. Boxing grows and changes and doms carried on the same philosophy that worked for his old man, but doesnt necessarily work in boxing in this day in age.
Anthony washua
Again 😮
Also the argument that fury is more established and better etc becajse now hes champion is garbage. Tyson furys resume is a shambles compared to aj. Not boased but a fact. Not disagreeing that fury is the bee's knee's but lets call a spade a spade
Styles make fights 🤷🏾♂️
AJ hasn't got a boxing I.Q..
Tyson fury, will fight only twice more, February 17th against USYK and will beat USYK, THen the only thing that is left for Fury, that will excite him, and be a great ending, to a great carreer, is a FINAL FIGHT AGAINST AJ, NEXT SUMMER IN UK AT WEMBLEY STADIUM, WHERE HE WILL BEAT AJ, THEN HE WILL RETIRE UNDEFEATE, UNIFIED CHAMPION, THEN HAND ALL THE BELTS BACK, AND HAVE A PERFECT LEGACY AND HISTORY
Headline is nonsense he is back in Texas..now in training camp..
Love dom ingle.
Straight as they come.
The mutual opponent should be Dillan whyte no???? 🤔
Correct. and Klitschko

Polite way of saying he thinks Ben Davison is not the trainer Ben Davison thinks he is :-)
Dominic is a true tyson fury fanboy lol
He isn't he just acknowledges his skill like Lennox always has.
The jab is the key to all doors
Like this is u do gangnam style dance when ure bet lands
Doms a top trainer !
Thats exactly what happens. Brendan doms father was a great trainer and ahead of his time. However, time has caught up the ingle gym hasnt. Dom talks well and i respect him but his training style is a bit dated. Boxers nowadays need to know many styles and ways of getting through different fights and different fighters. Thats where Dom is behind in his tactics. Knowledge is one thing, putting it into operation is totally different. The ingle gym struggles to move away from their dated tactics.
Dom the one of the best trainers in the world Ben Davidson couldn't tie Dom shoe laces what Dom's forgot about is more than what Ben no's fact 💯👌👌😊
I don’t get involved normally but I can’t see the point in your comment what do you know?
What on earth are you talking about you odd kid
Next joke!! What happened to galahad?? Leigh wood left and changed his life with Ben instead of living in the shadows
That's because Ben has not been training fighters for the amount of years Dom and his father Brendan rest his soul have. Don't underestimate Ben.
It is “knows” not “no’s”. Learn to speak English if you want to be taken seriously. For the record, Dom is a hopeless trainer and living off his Father’s name, Ben is pad and bags man, not a trainer.
