We were searching for a big mirror carp on this trip, while we didnt catch the intended species instead we ended up with an absolute bucket list of a fish. This would be my first ever fantail common carp. It was absolutely gorgeous and I am very happy to have caught something so unique. We were using chocolate strawberry carp bait and the fish were definitely loving it.
