These are the first electronic bite alarms that Im aware of that have somewhat of a smart technology compared to others. There are a few options like a wireless receiver that has 20 different sounds and several different alert functions and even a watch that can be used as a secondary wireless receiver so your friend or loved one never misses a bite as well. They have lots of what Ill call bells and whistles. This type of bite alarm is well known as a straw alarm due to the style and it is commonly used at paylakes and wild water around the USA for both carp fishing and catfish as well.
