To be fair its not a basher its a ground rc short course, small jumps its ok it will never be a basher there is not enough travel in the suspension thats why you get a maxx if you want to jump not every rc needs to be a basher its boring to have every rc be the same. I agree I got tons of hate from the fanboys for calling it out I couldn't keep it straight on a speed run it just flipped over I discovered the servo save was so soft the tires would turn on their own, a hot racing servo saver and new servo world of difference. I put the stiffer springs up front traxxas 10242 1.35 spring rate took out the shock extenders from the front I put in and now it handles great I also thinned out the shocks to 30 weight I dont jump mine I rip on the ground I drive it I have other cars like the Kraton or Xmaxx if I want to jump it sucks its not cheap and it has some serious flaws they should have fixed before release,
Overtime running it I did have more air control not sure if I had to turn down or up the tsm

I know I've been watching all your videos I am a subscriber you have not had real good luck with the max/ if you watch thunder rc he beats it up and can't believe how well it takes it if you want to take a look I do believe it's more of a track racing truck
Next upgrade are better shocks?
I love the way it looks with the factory wheels, but I really think traxxas missed the mark. Yes, it’s a SCT and not a basher, but if I’m being honest, I don’t think it’s particularly good at anything.
Headline: Truck Not Meant for Huge Hucks Bad at Huge Hucks I suggest folks just drive it like it's a real short-course truck, and enjoy it for what it is. I guess that videos talking about how bad something is get more attention than pragmatic ones, but... The other thing that I'm reminded of by this video is that it's really hard to find fun places to run these things. I'd need access to a gravel pit in order to fully enjoy one, and all we have are boring ol' baseball fields.
Did you miss the part of the video saying he is not trying to get attention by pointing out honestly the truck's shortcomings?
The thing is, Traxxas is positioning this as a Mojave killer, and the Mojave doesn't break this easily doing these things.
Most people have realized, that when Traxxas decided to throw in a free charger and 2 free lipos, that was Traxxas admitting they f*cked up.
Traxxas never put their vehicles on sale.
They know their truck is poorly received, so they give free stuff.
That tells you something, but you don't seem to listen very well.
I have seen a lot of videos on this truck, I have seen it in person at a dirt track. Unless you absolutely love Traxxas there is no reason to buy this truck.
I have been trying my hardest to get this truck to run the way it should. But I've had no luck. It's just not a good truck. :(
Fanboyism makes people blind.
I had a Samsung fanboy come at me because i read him a line in the TOS agreement where it says you give Samsung permission to share your banking info with their "partners"
This fanboy was so rabid, he assumed
A) that he was automatically correct
B) that i didn't read the TOS
Well, visit Samsung.com\privacy to see who was right 😮
The point is not that using a Samsung phone gives them permission to share your banking info, the point is that rabid famboys are blind, and believe whatever makes them feel better about their love affair with their company.
