    Hey! I love your tutorials! Whenever I have a waterslide to put on a dark Tumbler I always duplicate the image and print it as a cut file on white vinyl… Then I place the white vinyl on the dock Tumblr and slide the Clearwater slide over! It works great… I definitely recommend trying it out!!

    Powerwash gets a THUMBS UP from me! I like this version better than the first one. GREAT tutorial.
    If possible, would you be willing to show us how to decorate a ceramic dinner plate and/or a cup and saucer, please? This would make a nice and unique gift. Thanks.

    Thanks for your excellent video! With gluing the waterslide on the black background, you probably should cut your waterslide image exactly around, according with the shape, and then spray with the white color and then with the clear coat after white. In this case you would not see the film around of the transferred image. What do you think about it?

    You can also use clear vinyl and then spray paint the back of the print out n the sticky side with white spray paint.

    Nice - both are great - on the black onerous can still put black paint around your decal & then epoxy again - it may help

    Love the power wash! I wish you would have showed the actual spray painting of the white spray paint. I’m a beginner so I don’t know what’s too much of the white. Either way I loved this video and the mirroring placement of the water slide. It has helped me tremendously

    My favorite hack I learned for Waterslides is wetting the back with a piece of paper towel and keep the image face down so it won’t curl. I hated submerging them it was always hit or miss results for me. Now it’s stress free 😁

      They adhere together from the water. Once the water is dried, you epoxy over the tumbler and the design stays in place on the tumbler. 🤩

    Hello, I'm doing exactly what you're doing, but for some reason when I place it on the tumbler, its not blacking the whole background, just the outline of it, so my design is just blending it with the black, and you can't see it. Do you have tips on what I might be doing wrong?

    • @MissKissKreations

  • @kapmangaming

    When you mirror and place it face down on the tumbler instead of face up, aren’t you losing the adhesion from the Waterslide paper?

    • @MissKissKreations
      @MissKissKreations  Před rokem

      No. Water creates the adhesive for the water slide paper. It will still stick down. Then epoxy right over it

    I just tried this for the 1st time and my one question I have is how do you make the image stuck to the part after you place it on... I tried clear enamel spray paint aint I let that dry then I did another clear enamel spray paint let that dry for a day. But when I went to wet sand it lightly on the edge the whole image still comes up???

    Can I ask why you use the sealant and white spray paint and is it better to use both?

    • @jessicajrollo
      @jessicajrollo Před 3 lety +2

      You have to use the sealant because the ink will run without it. The white spray paint helps to make the waterslide show up on dark backgrounds because the waterslide paper she's using is clear. Otherwise it would just blend with the background on a dark tumbler. Then you use another coat of sealant to ensure your waterslide is totally sealed so the ink doesn't run. The good rule of thumb is always use a minimum of 3 coats of sealer- in this case the paint and prime counts as one coat.
