You have a beautiful collection. Do you buy seashells? My parents lived in the Philippines for a year in the early 1980s and I have now inherited them all and don’t know what to do with them all. Have some beautiful ones, very large, and also coral.
@@brendaphillips9804 there is a nice group on facebook called "seashell collectors". Its a very helpful community with many passionate collectors. Its also very well Moderated so you wont find any trolls there. You can post pictures of your collection there and ask them to identity the scientific names of the shells. After you have the names you can search online for their price according to condition and size. If your collection is very large you can pick out some of your personal favourite and post those instead of the whole collection. It should give you a rough idea of their price.
@@jasonsseashellandfossilcol390 That Strombus hawaiensis looks like the same size of one I sold to a collector in Florida about 3 years ago. It had it's operkulem with it. I found it on the west coast of Oahu.

Early on he posted about the struggles he’s had with major depression and severe anxiety issues. His mom once took him to the beach, and since that day, shelling has literally saved his life. He’s still very insecure, hence perhaps his coming off as arrogant. Anyway, I’m glad you tried to help, but let’s be glad for him and wish him well.
