Idk native 4K and upscaled 4K look completely different, I would know cause I have a 4K display in my house and comparing it to my 1440p monitor it’s way clearer and sharper.
the difference is in the nuances of background shading and working with lighting. These nuances greatly affect the final performance. In such scenarios, SONY PS would simply die, because the load from such small graphical nuances is simply colossal.

The comparison makes no sense because the graphic settings of the PC version are missing. For a game like this it is clear that the difference in 4K at 60 fps is not much: the two platforms should be compared for much heavier titles, at the same or similar settings. For example, those for whom PS5 does not go beyond 30 fps or struggles to reach 60 fps. In this regard, the actual fps counter is missing and the uploaded video makes the PC version seem jerky. Why? The comparison is not "honest".
Funny, a lot of comments saying would rather have a ps5 for the price and settle for the 60fps vs 200fps. They clearly haven't experienced 200plus FPS. That by itself is the game changer.😅 I played on xbox and ps5 my whole life up until I finally decided to build my first pc and it's a huuuggeeee difference everything is way more crisp than the consoles. Nothing against consoles but I've made the switch 😅 when you have a 5k setup everything about the pc is just beautiful to look at and game on.

The screen/image on the PC shakes too much and the track billboards (left and right) including fences are too distracting because of the shakes. The Screen/image on the PS5 Looks more smooth and still sharp.
lol u know u can spend way less to get the same experience on pc with cheaper gpus ? from amd for exemple ? but keep telling u that to keep justify a console purchase , while the latest 3A games are already back to the 30 fps cap for a while by now ^^ imagine the next future when most games will fully switch to UE 5.
I'm from the PC team but I think that in comparison with an RTX 4060ti all 4K 60 fps this game costs 1/4 of the value, it shows that the GPU usage should not exceed 60%
Nobody spends more on a PC just for gaming, PC is handy for video editing, screen captures, free online, you can download some games for free, cheap key discounts, emulation, game modding so no need for extra DLC's, pursue other hobbies, you'll actually end up saving money and can have more flexibility with it like choosing between controllers or a mouse and keyboard.
I own a PS5, a 4070 ti PC and a 2060 PC, the graphic quality between these systems in most games is very similar. The biggest plus of the 4070 is not the visual quality, but that you can play games with good FPS (like Cyberpunk) and to play VR games where you need a lot of horse power to get to 140 fps to reduce motion sickness. Bottom linn the difference into max settings and lower ones in most cases is not that noticeable, buy a new GPU when you can´t run your fav game at acceptable frame rates with lower settings.Just my 2 cents
Negligible difference. You wouldn't notice unless you have them side by side, and even then you have to be looking for it. The difference does not justify the price gap, not worth it if you ask me.
In this game maybe. It's a straight up PS5 port. Very similar on both, but if you play on pc, it's definitely a better experience even on a simple port like this one.
PC will always be better, but cost way more. It all depends what you want out of it. I love the visual eye candy, my 4070 looks fantastic on a 1440p monitor, but for way under half the price I could have bought a PS5.
I use a 4080 super and feel that this video doesnt really reflect what a gfx card like thus is all about. For starters that game is not taking full advantage of the 4080 at all. But secondly the 4080 allows me to run triple screens at frame rates that vannot be even considered on PS5. I would say however that PS5 is the way to go for most casual gamers, because it will give you what you need in most cases. Try running alan wake 2 at PCs top settings (path tracing) on a PS5. Do we need to play at those settings? Nope but it adds so much atmosphere.
Just built my very first FLIGHT SIM. The custom PC was front and center. So, I equipped it with the INTEL i9 14 gen, and a 4080 Super and LOTS of memory and cooling throughout the system because I am running 3 - 55" screens in 4K ! PS2 ? I don't think it could muster the FPS rate I am enjoying! NEVER have I had much more then a 13 year old i7 PC. So this is a totally NEW experience for this old guy 😊
There’s one thing video games have yet to truly perfect. That is characters or in this case an F1 car moving on the ground but not seem like their floating. I see it too many times whether it’s someone’s feet or in this case tires are just not convincing enough to seem totally real.
I noticed the same thing in F1 23 when ray tracing was turned off. The car doesn't seem to connect to the road. I think ray tracing helps smooth that out a bit
Im a console guy that recently built a PC(4080 Super GPU, i9 13900K CPU, etc) for all kind of needs and i also play on it and let me tell you something, i love consoles but on this PC i run games like Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K HDR with path ray tracing and the highest possible settings and hooked up to an OLED TV this games looks amazing, with DLSS set on quality plus FG, depending on the title i get like 60-80 FPS, if i turn off FG i still get over 30-50 FPS, but i repet, this are titles like i mentioned, very demanding ones because the 4080 Super is capable of way more frames in other titles even with maxed out settings. There is no comparison, Cyberpunk with highest settings and highest possible ray tracing ootions just look incredible in HDR on an OLED TV, i haven't experienced such level of ray tracing on consoles. The PC was built slowly part by part and i searched for deals and offers, it costed me 2200 euros and the GPU was exactly half of this price but imwould say it was worth it, im playing with a controller on the PC like im used too from the consoles and this PC will be used for some work too so i needed it. I will still own and love consoles but i just needed to tell that a PC with games that utilizes the GPU to the max there is a difference and im woowed sometimes. I still think that if someone do not have a budget to build such a PC a console offers a very good experience for the price and its not the end of the world if you dont experience max ray tracing and ultra settings, i lastly played Spiderman 2 on my PS5 and i very much enjoyed the title, it looked good and had some good ray tracing too!
Both look amazing tbh but i know on screen in real life defo the windows pc will look better but the full pc system would set you back £2k+ vs £400 . All depends on your budget and how much you game .
Your PC will outlast that PS5 by 6 years, well worth the money not being stuck in a console eco system, as a PC gamer and ex console gamer PC will always be a better choice...the game selection is off the chain...I have a 4070 now and love it.
Have a 4080 on my PC, but there has been a lot of games on pc that are poorly optimized and find myself playing on PS5 instead because it runs better on console. In a lot of cases yes PC is king but not always.
@@dennisbrown5995 that's true most PC games aren't optimized..I use lossless scaling and MSI afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server, and can get some better performance...
Any reasons on 60FPS? Both are capable of 120hZ. Also is Ray Tracing activated on PC. I have the 4080 and can't seem to get great graphics unless I turn DLSS off.
Xbox and PC may be capable of 120 but CZcams isn't, also PS5 running 120 would have the dynamic resolution constantly dipping visuals below 4K further hampering a like for like comparison.
A madman who puts his nose in the monitor and works hard to find a difference would buy a 4080. Isn't 4K actually meaningless for most people who have poor eyesight due to myopia or astigmatism in the first place? Even if the screen is clear, what you see with your eyes is blurry.
I remember only a few years ago, it was the console fanboys were arguing which is better. PS or Xbox. Fast forward today, people are arguing PS5 vs. PC. What a time we're living in. lol. But... seriously, if the devs wanted to go all out crazy with what a 4080 can do... it'll be over. I own a PS5 and a youtube PC.
It's like the days of comparing an Amiga 1200 to a PC in 1993. Yeah the PC had more grunt but you had to spend 3 times more. I prefer the PC over Consoles but PC gaming at this level is for a single guy in his 20's or 30's that can afford it. Consoles for most people are more cost effective.
What caught my attention is the inside of the rear wheels of the vehicle, which is very dark on the PC. The inside of the vehicle is not visible. Nvidia, which does not spare itself when it comes to shadow and light, has failed badly here. The inside of the rear tires is very clear on the PS5.
That bar in the middle in 1st person mode...is kinda annoying to look at. It obscure the view and my eyes keep getting draw to it. It might break the realism...but I'd like to have an option to make that middle bar invisible.
As far as stock gaming as 60 FPS goes the PS5 makes sense, but this isn't taking advantage of mods with shaders and other graphic enhancements that can be done on PC that you cannot on Console. Not to mention so many more games available on PC and many times at lower prices than console games. This is the reason I am currently planning my first Gaming PC or Laptop purchase and I've been a console gamer as a kid in the 80's with Atari 2600 through all of the Nintendo's, then Sega and every Playstation up to and including my current PS5.
I owned 3080 and Ps5! Trust me you won’t see any difference watching side by side comparisons in CZcams cause video quality here is compromised! But in reality graphics and details with my 3080 is noticeable ❤
You do realize because CZcams doesn't run at native resolution they will be virtually the same because both images are being filtered through the same upscaler

They could have done so much more on a monster PC, but appart from obviously a higher resolution and better shadows its pretty much a straight PS5 port. Shame.
@@pcgamerzzzchannel3407 But I play 2K 120hz with the PS5, I'm not a big game fan, just play eventually Call of Duty, some Soccer game and one or other campaign games and GTA, and not every week. So, PS5 was actually really good to me, I play Call of Duty with Mouse and Keyboard and to be sincerely the only one game from PC I would like to play is the Counter Strike, that's the only one that really made me think of buying a gamer laptop, but not enough reason to make me going on PC. I'm happy with the PS5 and a laptop only to work.
If you just play games and enjoy it The PS5 is perfect. Besides you won't focus on some little difference in the picture you wont notice. PC is better for competitive gameplay. Like FPS
Kind of suspicious just how good consoles can look compared to GPUs costing 3 times as much and being supposedly far more feature rich. We PC gamers are getting swindled.
PS5 I feel is good enough, certainly wouldn’t shell out for a 4080, just don’t think it add enough to make that much difference in playability. People seem to be stuck in the numbers games, there is a point where higher numbers don’t make any difference, and this has been proven scientifically. Watched a few of these comparisons and if anything I think all they do is highlight the values of the PS5. One GPU or 3 x PS 5s
Ps5 looks good enought but that judder and blur gives me a head ache. As always consoles are too weak to run high resolution and fps at the same time unlike a pc. Thats why I have a gaming pc. I have a ps5 for Stellar blade only, when the game comes to pc I am selling the ps5 for lack of power.
CZcams does not allow native quality. But yes, the value for money is superior on PS5 then on small configurations... Large PCs are good for big players, because they are more pleasant.
I mean its def a console built game. But agaun youtube here just wont allow you to see the differences much on the upload it isnt your fault this is how most comparisons are. In person the crality and detail is insane on the 4080 super. Especially if you actually utilize all of the ray tracing. Its pretty insane especially in the rain. Gameplay look at the sides of the cwr and clarity its almoat like the ps5 is foggy. So in actual gameplay can def see a difference my bqd. You should test out rtx hdr 😉 its game changing I use it on like all games even ones that have hdr. I prefer the depth ans natural look it has. Almost like it adds contrast and that nice warmth to it.
I also have a High end PC and a PS5, I only play FPS on the PC, for all the rest I prefer to play on the PS5 on a 55'' OLED TV (it's a lot better experience). My PC screens are both 4k, but 28''. Everybody only compares the price of the Graphic Card, you have to add the price of the all PC, and a High End PC these days cost around 6.000€, that's the price of about 12 PS5.
But why dont you connect your PC via one HDMI port from your GPU to your OLED? Only consoles can do that? No, you can use you 55 inch OLED TV for PC gaming too and you can also use your DualSense controller with your PC!! And on what earth are you living? I built a PC (4080 Super GPU, 13900K CPu, 32GB 6600mhz DRR5, ATX 3.0 PSU, Z790 MB, 360 AIO cooler, 1TB 980 Pro SSD, etc) with 2200 euros
the differences are minor GPU only comes in to play if you have the right monitor which will take advantage, i take my pc (3080) over my consoles if i was better fps
Nvidia RTX 4080 has better details, sharper, and better shadows ect. When you factor in the price of the Nvidia video card plus the PC, you will most likely be paying a miyof 5X of the price of the PS5. No doubt the PS5 is king when it comes to price vs performance ratio.
@@ENFDO you forgot to mention DLSS , its blatantly obvious the ps5 is heavely underpowered compared to a 4080 super build , 4080 super is capable to play bf 2042 with 128 players at 100+ fps at ultra settings DLSS Quality 4K. The only fair comparison would be a game made for PC ported to the consoles , then we will see the advantage of PC to the fullest. Consoles are the reason why PC games are not as pushed forward as they could have been. Look at Ghost of Tsushima , game is gorgeous but if that was designed just for PC we would have 2x the details + RT ( maybe even PT) but now my 4080 is pushing +200fps @ 1440p maxed out . Console players have 0 clue when they are saying 30fps or 60fps is great .Remember , people were happy with black and white television for a very long time . Its simply a BS .

Not really. In this instance, the PC is clearer of course, but for the most part it's just a straight up PS5 port. PC is leaps and bounds beyond PS5, but this game doesn't show it all that much other than fps and resolution, which CZcams don't show of course. Also, imagine what PCs will be like in 2028.
Pc costs more, that's right. But that game doesn't push the 4080 to it's limits, while that's the best the ps5 can do. In the end, you pay more for a pc that can play all the ps5 games and most of the upcoming generation, a huge games catalog for cheap and some even free, more and better accessories, etc. There's no way to deny PC offers you the best gaming experience. So if you have the money, why not use the best instead of the consoles?

i have a 4070 ti Super 16 but this show us that cards are so expensive and for what , ps5 do the same and isnt so expensive like need to buy a pc gpu in this days

There is a huge difference when you turn on all the bells and whistles, ray tracing etc. I do agree, you can only see so much but when you blow it up like that it PS5 simply can not keep up. To be fair, I am running a faster PC than this but the video's point is is just that. Play Madden on PC?

At the level we're at, it's no longer a matter of CPU/GPU to define the quality of a game. We just need the competence (of racing, f1, cars, etc...) of those who develop the games. Give the licence for F1 games to Kunos and all this abominable crap will end

The 4080 GPU alone is almost 3x the price of PS5. Basically, both look the same. Play on a TV from 6 feet away, and you won't tell any difference.

For people that never used a 4080 it’s not even close you can play games at 4k at like 200fps compared to 60fps

Advantage of pc is that you can choose from a lot of different Direct Drive Brand, also you can play it with triple screen.

I know what you mean, but Gran Turismo never seemed off to me in replays.

Im a console guy that recently built a PC(4080 Super GPU, i9 13900K CPU, etc) for all kind of needs and i also play on it and let me tell you something, i love consoles but on this PC i run games like Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K HDR with path ray tracing and the highest possible settings and hooked up to an OLED TV this games looks amazing, with DLSS set on quality plus FG, depending on the title i get like 60-80 FPS, if i turn off FG i still get over 30-50 FPS, but i repet, this are titles like i mentioned, very demanding ones because the 4080 Super is capable of way more frames in other titles even with maxed out settings. There is no comparison, Cyberpunk with highest settings and highest possible ray tracing ootions just look incredible in HDR on an OLED TV, i haven't experienced such level of ray tracing on consoles. The PC was built slowly part by part and i searched for deals and offers, it costed me 2200 euros and the GPU was exactly half of this price but imwould say it was worth it, im playing with a controller on the PC like im used too from the consoles and this PC will be used for some work too so i needed it. I will still own and love consoles but i just needed to tell that a PC with games that utilizes the GPU to the max there is a difference and im woowed sometimes. I still think that if someone do not have a budget to build such a PC a console offers a very good experience for the price and its not the end of the world if you dont experience max ray tracing and ultra settings, i lastly played Spiderman 2 on my PS5 and i very much enjoyed the title, it looked good and had some good ray tracing too!

Both look amazing tbh but i know on screen in real life defo the windows pc will look better but the full pc system would set you back £2k+ vs £400 . All depends on your budget and how much you game .
Your PC will outlast that PS5 by 6 years, well worth the money not being stuck in a console eco system, as a PC gamer and ex console gamer PC will always be a better choice...the game selection is off the chain...I have a 4070 now and love it.
Have a 4080 on my PC, but there has been a lot of games on pc that are poorly optimized and find myself playing on PS5 instead because it runs better on console. In a lot of cases yes PC is king but not always.
@@dennisbrown5995 that's true most PC games aren't optimized..I use lossless scaling and MSI afterburner and RivaTuner Statistics Server, and can get some better performance...

Any reasons on 60FPS? Both are capable of 120hZ. Also is Ray Tracing activated on PC. I have the 4080 and can't seem to get great graphics unless I turn DLSS off.
Xbox and PC may be capable of 120 but CZcams isn't, also PS5 running 120 would have the dynamic resolution constantly dipping visuals below 4K further hampering a like for like comparison.
yeah I have a 4080 and I never turn on DLSS. It takes away some of the quality and you can tell easy.

I'm watching this with 65inch TV from 7ft away and I can see differences, image is sharper with the 4080
A madman who puts his nose in the monitor and works hard to find a difference would buy a 4080.
Isn't 4K actually meaningless for most people who have poor eyesight due to myopia or astigmatism in the first place? Even if the screen is clear, what you see with your eyes is blurry.
I remember only a few years ago, it was the console fanboys were arguing which is better. PS or Xbox. Fast forward today, people are arguing PS5 vs. PC. What a time we're living in. lol.
But... seriously, if the devs wanted to go all out crazy with what a 4080 can do... it'll be over.
I own a PS5 and a youtube PC.
It's like the days of comparing an Amiga 1200 to a PC in 1993. Yeah the PC had more grunt but you had to spend 3 times more.
I prefer the PC over Consoles but PC gaming at this level is for a single guy in his 20's or 30's that can afford it.
Consoles for most people are more cost effective.

Anyone who tries playing above 60 FPS never wants to go back to 30, this is not possible on the PS5
What caught my attention is the inside of the rear wheels of the vehicle, which is very dark on the PC. The inside of the vehicle is not visible. Nvidia, which does not spare itself when it comes to shadow and light, has failed badly here. The inside of the rear tires is very clear on the PS5.

That bar in the middle in 1st person mode...is kinda annoying to look at. It obscure the view and my eyes keep getting draw to it. It might break the realism...but I'd like to have an option to make that middle bar invisible.
As far as stock gaming as 60 FPS goes the PS5 makes sense, but this isn't taking advantage of mods with shaders and other graphic enhancements that can be done on PC that you cannot on Console. Not to mention so many more games available on PC and many times at lower prices than console games. This is the reason I am currently planning my first Gaming PC or Laptop purchase and I've been a console gamer as a kid in the 80's with Atari 2600 through all of the Nintendo's, then Sega and every Playstation up to and including my current PS5.

I owned 3080 and Ps5! Trust me you won’t see any difference watching side by side comparisons in CZcams cause video quality here is compromised! But in reality graphics and details with my 3080 is noticeable ❤
Difference is going almost impossible to tell when your uploading a video on CZcams because of the compression CZcams uses
You do realize because CZcams doesn't run at native resolution they will be virtually the same because both images are being filtered through the same upscaler

I'm from the PC team but I think that in comparison with an RTX 4060ti all 4K 60 fps this game costs 1/4 of the value, it shows that the GPU usage should not exceed 60%

They could have done so much more on a monster PC, but appart from obviously a higher resolution and better shadows its pretty much a straight PS5 port. Shame.

I think the graphic engine seems to be not the newest one. Normally you see the differences between PS and PC.
I was unsure whether to buy a gaming PC with RTX 4080, in the end I bought a PS5 and a MacBook pro M3 and was actually a great choice.
depends on what you play, high refreshrate 4k monitor +DLSS is a big for win for fps.
@@pcgamerzzzchannel3407 But I play 2K 120hz with the PS5, I'm not a big game fan, just play eventually Call of Duty, some Soccer game and one or other campaign games and GTA, and not every week. So, PS5 was actually really good to me, I play Call of Duty with Mouse and Keyboard and to be sincerely the only one game from PC I would like to play is the Counter Strike, that's the only one that really made me think of buying a gamer laptop, but not enough reason to make me going on PC. I'm happy with the PS5 and a laptop only to work.
If you just play games and enjoy it The PS5 is perfect. Besides you won't focus on some little difference in the picture you wont notice. PC is better for competitive gameplay. Like FPS
Kind of suspicious just how good consoles can look compared to GPUs costing 3 times as much and being supposedly far more feature rich. We PC gamers are getting swindled.

PS5 I feel is good enough, certainly wouldn’t shell out for a 4080, just don’t think it add enough to make that much difference in playability. People seem to be stuck in the numbers games, there is a point where higher numbers don’t make any difference, and this has been proven scientifically.
Watched a few of these comparisons and if anything I think all they do is highlight the values of the PS5.

Ps5 looks good enought but that judder and blur gives me a head ache. As always consoles are too weak to run high resolution and fps at the same time unlike a pc. Thats why I have a gaming pc. I have a ps5 for Stellar blade only, when the game comes to pc I am selling the ps5 for lack of power.
CZcams does not allow native quality. But yes, the value for money is superior on PS5 then on small configurations... Large PCs are good for big players, because they are more pleasant.
I mean its def a console built game. But agaun youtube here just wont allow you to see the differences much on the upload it isnt your fault this is how most comparisons are. In person the crality and detail is insane on the 4080 super.
Especially if you actually utilize all of the ray tracing. Its pretty insane especially in the rain.
Gameplay look at the sides of the cwr and clarity its almoat like the ps5 is foggy. So in actual gameplay can def see a difference my bqd.
You should test out rtx hdr 😉 its game changing I use it on like all games even ones that have hdr. I prefer the depth ans natural look it has. Almost like it adds contrast and that nice warmth to it.
I also have a High end PC and a PS5, I only play FPS on the PC, for all the rest I prefer to play on the PS5 on a 55'' OLED TV (it's a lot better experience). My PC screens are both 4k, but 28''. Everybody only compares the price of the Graphic Card, you have to add the price of the all PC, and a High End PC these days cost around 6.000€, that's the price of about 12 PS5.
But why dont you connect your PC via one HDMI port from your GPU to your OLED? Only consoles can do that? No, you can use you 55 inch OLED TV for PC gaming too and you can also use your DualSense controller with your PC!! And on what earth are you living? I built a PC (4080 Super GPU, 13900K CPu, 32GB 6600mhz DRR5, ATX 3.0 PSU, Z790 MB, 360 AIO cooler, 1TB 980 Pro SSD, etc) with 2200 euros

the differences are minor GPU only comes in to play if you have the right monitor which will take advantage, i take my pc (3080) over my consoles if i was better fps

Nvidia RTX 4080 has better details, sharper, and better shadows ect. When you factor in the price of the Nvidia video card plus the PC, you will most likely be paying a miyof 5X of the price of the PS5. No doubt the PS5 is king when it comes to price vs performance ratio.
u can buy rx6750xt for 330$ if u live in usa ...that gpu is stronger than ps5 gpu

The only fair comparison would be a game made for PC ported to the consoles , then we will see the advantage of PC to the fullest. Consoles are the reason why PC games are not as pushed forward as they could have been. Look at Ghost of Tsushima , game is gorgeous but if that was designed just for PC we would have 2x the details + RT ( maybe even PT) but now my 4080 is pushing +200fps @ 1440p maxed out . Console players have 0 clue when they are saying 30fps or 60fps is great .Remember , people were happy with black and white television for a very long time . Its simply a BS .

4080 is better with my first glimpse. It’s the lack of dynamic range on ps5 makes the game look quite flat. Am I the only one here can tell?

Not really. In this instance, the PC is clearer of course, but for the most part it's just a straight up PS5 port. PC is leaps and bounds beyond PS5, but this game doesn't show it all that much other than fps and resolution, which CZcams don't show of course. Also, imagine what PCs will be like in 2028.

But that game doesn't push the 4080 to it's limits, while that's the best the ps5 can do.
In the end, you pay more for a pc that can play all the ps5 games and most of the upcoming generation, a huge games catalog for cheap and some even free, more and better accessories, etc.
There's no way to deny PC offers you the best gaming experience. So if you have the money, why not use the best instead of the consoles?

There is a huge difference when you turn on all the bells and whistles, ray tracing etc. I do agree, you can only see so much but when you blow it up like that it PS5 simply can not keep up. To be fair, I am running a faster PC than this but the video's point is is just that. Play Madden on PC?

please force x16 anisotropic filtering through the nvidia control panel. the textures look 100x better with this. instead of these n64 washed out textures if you leave this at 0
