o7 sir, we appreciate your sacrifice, taking one for the team.
Notice how he never mentioned Arch and didn't say it was his favourite distro. This is because, unlike all Arch users, he is employed
NixOS mentioned. peace founded.
Let the distro wars begin.
FrameWork needs to win Enterprise/Goverment customers. That would help accelerate the growth of the brand
His favorite boat is the Ship of Theseus
Been running NixOS on my framework and loving it!
NixOS is the best 💪💪💪
The fact that your employee base is skewed towards Linux is amazing. This gives me so much hope!
Please launch in India. This can be a great laptop for students.
Arch mentions? 0
Framework went from "we don't officially support or recommend Linux but we won't make it difficult for you"
NixOS mentioned, I am in disbelief, I have reached pure ecstasy
didn't expect NixOS to be mentioned
Nirav, if you're reading this:
The fact that everyone in the company are such huge f***ing nerd using Linux, that they need to sacrifice one of them to at least make sure Windows work is hilarious to me.
I'm running NixOS on my framework. Never been happier. Best laptop purchase ever!
I love that this company is so in tune with the community.
I wish these questions were read out loud for accessibility reasons (or watching CZcams while doing chores reasons 😅)
I'm glad Fedora 40 was added to the list of officially supported distros, this opens up the door to a lot of Fedora based distros to also work just as well.
