So the basic premise is that in the first season they try to make the other fall in love and confess to them, because "whoever falls in love first, loses". Basically, they both have this flawed belief that love has winners and losers, that whoever confesses first is essentially like a slave to the one confessed to, and the conflict is more or less them slowly figuring out that's not really the case. All the while trying to finesse the other into directly or indirectly confess.
Second season and on, they both pretty much know that they have feelings for each other, and that their previous thoughts on the "inherent power dynamic" of relationships was wrong. Problem is, they're both stubborn lovestruck baffoons that refuse to just confess already because this game, or "war" if you prefer, has been going on for so long that they refuse to be the loser, even with their new understanding that their previous beliefs about relationships were wrong. So basically, now it's more so just a matter of pride and teen anxiety that keeps them from confessing. Mostly pride, though.

In the later seasons they explained their motivations a bit better so it's not just pride for the sake of pride, but overall pretty accurate summary
I forgot how good these were
I absolutely love Kaguya-sama from the bottom of my heart, it really makes you feel for the characters and it catches perfectly how a high school crush can make you feel. The end of season 2 is when I completely fell in love with the show (if you know, you know) but what makes this anime really good is that it only gets better as time goes on, in terms of animation, visual gags (there are A LOT), character's motivations and storytelling. Last but not least, the endings are breathtaking, but I'm not sure if you'd want to react to them in a separate video, especially because one of them is much better if you watch the episode it was made for, so I'd suggest not spoiling it for yourself.

I’d recommend checking out the opening and ending to Ya Boy Kongming, it came out last year and was an amazing show!

This one was made by the same author of Oshi No Ko. Infact Both of these stories takes place in the same world but at different times. There is a spoiler about kaguya sama in one of the Oshi No Ko chapters.
