- In this edition of Dragon Ball What Ifs we’ll e discussing a fan favorite of Yamcha. After recently being involved in the DBS Manga I thought a take of Yamcha in the Tournament of Power would be a fun thing to do. #Yamcha #dragonballsuper #dragonballwhatifs

Honestly, I feel like yamcha was never expanded on as a character due to becoming a meme, he literally was the first person to be shown using a ki attack and he also has the spirit of the wolf to help guide his attacks, that was never explored enough.
That is why fan made stuff improves over Toriyama. Especially the fan manga DBZ Elsewhere
Memes didn't exist when yamcha was created and he still wack bub .

So basicly Yamcha:
-Eliminated 3 fighters
-Saved Piccolo
-Slowed down Tien's elimination and possibly weakned Jimizu thanks to Tien being still in the game
I say he did well.
Also he did break out almost everything he had...yet I think that Ki Blast Thrust could still have been used (even if it's a filler technique, it still made it way to DBX)
My goal was to delay as many deaths during the Saiyan saga while making sure Yamcha and Goku are equal in power level, but Yamcha lost too much Ki after helping to defeat Nappa and pushing Vegeta to go Great Ape. But because Yamcha`s stamina & Ki ran out, he could not dodge Vegeta`s boot! That is not laziness nor disrespect! He did well fighting equally! No Gaps in Power Levels in this story. Just who has the advantage who does not.
Yes and also the reason why he lost all his Ki which still weakened Vegeta was the Double Spirit Ball Explosion technique. So yes I thinking of having Yamcha use the Jimizu technique. The skills works to weaken him but the Boot still crushes Yamcha because he gave it all he had and ran out. The Beans were finished when Krillin and Gohan + Piccolo ate the last 3. So that is a factor. Goku and Yamcha do not eat a bean because they were healed by Mr. Popo who figured it out being a genie!

Precisely yes! Vegeta does have a weakness so before Vegeta steps on Yamcha, Yamcha uses a Spirit Scissors type skill similar to the Kamehameha but shaped like a pair of scissors. Yamcha was able to cut Goku`s tail off using puar who shape shifted into a pair of scissors in season 1 of Dragon Ball! So if anything I want to make Yamcha able to stop Vegeta, but due to being out of energy and stamina, he can`t dodge Vegeta`s fall on him boot landing on his stomach head banging his head. This would cause Goku to be angrier with Vegeta, but he is too badly crushed to do anything. So Gohan, Krillin, Tien stand ready with Piccolo to finish the fight with Vegeta. Tien & Piccolo help Goku up, Gohan & Krillin prepare a family friend/ Father/ Son Fusion Spirit Bomb like in the original DBZ, but Yajirobe is dead because after slashing Vegeta`s back, he tried to runaway but Vegeta shot a Ki beam from his Great Ape eyes before reverting back to normal thanks to Yamcha`s Wolf Spirit Scissor Kamehaball technique. A fusion of Spirit Bomb + Spirit Ball + Wolf Fang Kamehameha Fist reshaped like a round ball of scissors. It is a creative use of his distance spinning scissors made of Life Ki! I hope this makes Yamcha seem less lazy to everyone! Thank you!

Yamcha if you think about his feats and growth when training...he is probably the human fighter with the most potential
At one point in Dragon Ball he was believed to have more potential than Goku
People forget that neither he, Tien and Chiaotzu ever had their potential unlocked like Krillin did. This is the main reason Krillin is seen as the strongest human fighter. Who knows how strong they would be if they had their potential unlocked as well.
Toriyama has gone on record saying Yamcha has the most potential of all the Z Fighters at some point before the SSJ bargin bin happened. He just wanted to make an example of what wasted potential looks like.
I mean, I get it, I like it, but it sucks Yamcha never got a redemption until Moro. The message would've been _much_ more effective if Yamcha had learned from it and continued training to not be left back. It would've made him more admirable and Toriyama more admirable as a writer.
Yamcha was the first male teenager to have a bit equal power level to Goku`s when they first met! Although Goku had a bit of an advantage being a Saiyan and all! I have an idea, (What If Yamcha gets reminded of when Goku beat him?) He uses it to get strongly motivated again during the Saiyan Saga to train both harder & smarter! Improvement.

@Flavio Henrique That's not really the same thing. Training at King Kaio's is just that, training. It physically improved them, the same way it did Goku, but it made no noticeable difference in unlocking their inner potential. Both Krillin & Gohan's potential being unlocked was instantaneous, and it resulted in a noticeably greater increase than what Yamcha and the others received training w/ Kaio. The same w/ Goku when he had his potential unlocked in early DB, before fighting King Piccolo.

It's really irritating how people keep saying all Yamcha does is lose. As if the guy never made it to the main parts of the world tournaments, or that the only people he's lost to are the eventual champions or a literal god. It's like you really expose how little you know of the series when you spread that false narrative.

A cool move would be a Destruco-spirit ball discs:
Two discs connected by the spirit ball in between.
Making it very strong as Krillin cant control it when he throws it but Yamcha can redirect them as his spirit ball acts as a gyro for the two discs & moving at incredible speeds propelled by both combatants working together

This is some nice shine for Yamcha I enjoyed the video. Also like the ending of Goku and Gohan working together to push Jiren out. Hoping the next video is: What if Janemba replaced the Buu Saga? Part 2, because I really like to see the next part.

Imagine if Yamcha joined, during the Spirit Bomb struggle between Jiren and Goku, Yamcha sneakily put a silent Spirit Bomb on the ground and just as Jiren starts to overcome the Spiit Bomb and pushing it towards Goku, forcing Goku to use Kaioken X 20, the silent Spirit Bomb ambushed Jiren and do the One Hundred Years of Death on him. Could that work, lol?

Aayush Kumar Keep in mind no humans train. Tien just teaches, krillin is a police officer , Yamaha does nothing. Despite that they are all stronger than Z cell and maybe even Z buu. Keeping that in mind. Roshi could perform ultra instinct. Krillin out smarted Gohan of all people. And Yamcha can take down MORO grunts. Not frezia grunts. Moro grunts. Known universally for their danger. So Yamcha’s potential specifically should be immense. Gohan Ivan fight Kefla 1 on 1 in the manga. “Why don’t you go super saiyan?” “I don’t need it” I could say more but you should see he would get at least ssjg level of not higher.

This is a Phenomenally Creek video, definitely should make it so that Yumchaa is the sole survivor of the tournament of power next time. And I would love to see him get ultra instinct omen, not mastered but just a woman alone. That would make it Bizzly godly unstoppable. Nobody would’ve seen this coming and would be the perfect power up to the perfect underdog. Lol love your Frieza impression. Yamcha is my favorite character under Goku. I’d love to see Tienshinhan Yamcha and Krillin game new levels of power and some form of transformation or at least the power of that multiplies the power level 30x - 50x. There is 0 excuse as to why they didn't include yamcha in this tournament. ZERO. If they can pull some BS with Roshi by saying he's been "secretly training" when he's supposed to have been retired from fighting DECADES before yamcha did then damn it they can do the same shit for Yamcha. He was even left out in Resurrection F which again ZERO excuse you're telling me Yamcha(the guy who bodied Recoome) can't take on some weak Frieza henchman when Krillin's scared ass was intimidated by them. Yamcha is literally the only Z fighter that didn't get his redemption or at least a chance to shine and it's frustrating as hell

I feel no one has ever shown thanks to the American Sanitation services who work tireless to keep our planet clean and safe! Since there is a 2nd season of Fire Force coming to Toonami in the fall, someone should do an animated series about the Sanitation department to say thanks for all the work they do for people.
Also it brings something new to world of Superheroes. That and it would be nice to have Dragon Ball Heroes, Dragon Ball Minus and Dragon Ball Absalon on Toonami along with R&R! Since all of the quality work put into them deserve to be aired globally on Toonami. The place where it all began for me and so many others! I will always love them!
I even watched the Japanese version of DB!
Hulu airs Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT & now Dragon Ball Super! I love it all!

Thus Fat Buu then becomes a good member.

@DragonStar Productions, with this scenario.. Yamcha arrived sooner so he even had time to train and prepare more a bit.
BUT the question is, what if he was picked up for the top... right when they were about to leave (when Yamcha still had his casual clothes on)?

The reason Yamcha is a joke is because he never gets good fights, it’s either a huge mismatch or a complete wash. Lets see his losses
Goku (literally main character)
Roshi (DB era when he was the strongest we knew)
Tien (current strongest character in DB and main antagonist)
6 Saibamen (creatures that were supposedly powerful enough to 1v1 the humans and even then he beat 5 before losing to a sd)
Dr Gero (current antagonist + surprise attack)
Cell Juniors (same situation with saibamen but they were fsr more powerful and proved difficult for the saiyans)
His notable wins are:
Goku (Granted it was DB)
A literal invisible guy
5 saibamen (maybe 6)
Jeice (one of Ginyu squad members, also helped with recoom and burter)
Unironically, Yamcha could beat Dr. Rota at least
If Yamcha was was in the tournament of power would have been epic if he could have helped Goku and Vegeta get rid of Bergamo, Lavender, and Basil from universe 9 using his wolf fang fists thus sealing 9s fate, having Goku, Vegeta and Yamcha taking them on one on one.
Then later ....."perhaps"......have Yamcha get knocked out by Frost from Universe 6 like krillen did.
TBH, if he trained his Wolf Fang Fist and mixed it with Ki Blast, and manipulated it with excellent control, he can compete with Rozie.
