North Korea held a massive military parade on Oct. 10 at Kim Il-sung Square, marking the 75th founding anniversary of the ruling Worker's Party.
The military parade reached its peak when the new strategic weapons were unveiled.

Having had to march in a ceremony for the US military, I can tell you this took hours and hours of marching prior to this night.....must of been miserable.
Yep. Practiced for 2 weeks for a 1 hour retirement ceremony for a 3 star General in the Marine Corps. I can't imagine the amount of practice it took to get his ceremony correct.
As an Air force veteran, non-veterans will never understand that synchronized marching like this, sucks. The majority of troops don't want to do it and there is not enough "honor guards" in the US to do a military parade like this. Besides that, military parades are a waste of time and resources..

Remember South and North Korea are originally one single country that got divided and subsequently separated in governance due to the Korean war. Also their people will demand taking back South Korea in the future since they've already believe they are stronger militarily compared to their neighbor or even other countries. Only 8 independent countries have nuclear weapons and North Korea is among that.

I feel pity for the citizens of North Korea.
You know what? In 70s North Korea’s GDP was three times than that of South Korea, until US applied the sanction on them. Kim was not the one caused the people starving, US was.
Its weird for us to see their lifestyle but they are pretty much used to it. Just as much Westerners feel disturbed seeing Asian parents beating off their kids with belts..
Soon they'll try to use their weapons to invade and colonize other countries just like what our history tells us. What's the purpose of modernizing your military and getting them strong if you only wanna use it for defensive measures. There will come a time these countries are gonna use it eventually. Remember Imperial Japan back in the late 19th century, they were weak militarily and even had to import their weapons and battle ships from the west. Later on when they were successful from invading Korea they only began learning to build their own weapons and many other things because they don't have a choice and they also gained advantages from the spoils of colonizing Korea. Soon when they get stronger and independent from technology of the west they invaded other countries starting from Manchuria to the rest of southeast Asia and even joining nazi Germany in the war.
