In 1998 my boyfriend and me moved from Mexico City to Toronto. We flew Canadian Airlines and the plane was an Airbus A320. Before landing we we offered free breakfast (eggs or salad) and it was free. What a beautiful experience. I miss Canadian Airlines. As a kid I was living in Mexico City (my dad worked for Aeromexico for 23 years). Sometimes we used to go to the Airport and I still remember those beautiful DC-8s from CP Air. I work for a hotel since 2002 and years ago it was associated with CP Rail and CP Air. Sometimes I still find some old cutlery with the logo from CP. I really wish they still flying today but they merged with Air Canada. Great video.
What year was this from? I couldn't help but notice that the A320's used in this video use EXACTLY the same interior components as the -200's coming off the line today. 1986-87 must have been two great years in Toulouse, looks like a set from Star Trek 4 parted out and grafted to a jetliner fuselage.
Completely disagree. In the nearly 60 years of jet airliners, NO aircraft variant has remained 99% UNCHANGED over 28 years except the A320-200. This PROVES the western world abandoned aerospace technology when heroin, "gangsta" rap, etc... started dumbing down the populace.
Nope, you're completely wrong. Ignoring the new Airespace cabin in 2021 (after your comment), you can tell multiple differences. One: that's the original CIDS, it was upgraded with a whole new touchscreen system in the late 2000's. Two, the exits got a cover over the door handle and arming lever due to accidental slide deployments. Three, Kid Systeme upgraded the PSUs with LEDs, the reading lights are recessed and unadjustable. The whole thing is flatter and easier to clean. Four, there was the option for two Space-Flex rear galleys that moved the lavs to the back wall for wheelchair access and cut galley size. Five, the overhead bins were recontoured so they don't curve in as much at the top. You can tell because the new bins are continuous and don't have the dividers in the grab handle. Six, the interior fluorescent lamps got replaced by LEDs, airlines save labor costs due to the longer life.
yes, all of them. you need to do so to not accidentally arm them. what you might not see is where it is put when removed…some airlines have pouches….others put it in its pinhole stowage position on the door

There is no "old" A320 like there is for the 737, unless you count the -100 which only went to two customers. They've all been the same since 1988.
