Great review, it sounded killer. I managed to track down a rare gloss black version from 2012 and it's an incredible guitar. Not the best for shredding, but as a riff machine it's second to none!

Same thing for me. I found a ‘12 gloss black earlier this year. Barely played. I was playing it through an EVH stealth minutes before watching this video 🎸🤟🏼

Great review, thank you so much! You bring me one step closer to actually purchase this axe. 🙂However, I have one question regarding the frets - in the video, you said that these are not the stainless steel frets. I know from other sources that the latest copies of this guitar (produced in 2023) have the stainless steel frets - or at least their owners claim that their guitars have such frets. Could you please tell me when (year/week) your guitar was produced? You can simply check that by decoding your serial no. First two digits means the year, while the next two are for a month. Of course if it's not a problem for you. 🙂

I got a satin black vulture years ago because the snakebyte was always out of stock.

Funny, when it comes to the aftermarket, it's way easier to find Snakebytes than Vultures, and I know because I got the Snakebyte but can't find a Vulture for the life of me.

Could i change to 11-48s right out of the box?

@@OliRoyer thank you for replying! Ultimately i wanna just string it up to 48s half a step down right out of the box. Ive just never really wondered if it’s worth taking to get set up if im only going down half a step

So I'm a lead player, is it that difficult to play up the neck. Worse than a Les Paul?

Thanks man, your Snakebyte reviews have been helpful as hell. And your collection is dope AF.

6:48 mate, get some water or something. The constant swallowing and smacking of your mouth is super distracting lol. Sorry to be rude, great review and all.
