Why in fucks name are we not getting buster sword customizations? Curses…
The collaboration even with Final Fantasy actually costed them money to run the event and actively promote the copyrighted material from Final Fantasy. In order to customize it they would actually need the ok, and a much heftier contract alongside pricetag. This is why Fortnite runs things in bursts as well, it's simply very expensive.

Why is that Buster sword not even in the Melee section? it should be in the artifacts category like the Cobalt katar!?
The same answer as above, in order to keep it in the game as an heirloom shard item would've costed way too much money while not necessarily generating enough. That is a money pit, Square Enix isn't just going to let them sell a buster sword and keep the profit lol.

Anyway, looking forward to more Intel about next possible heirlooms (I make my bet on Mad Maggie) reactive skins (Octane next makes sense so I believe you on that) , new legends and new money grabs like those new shards lmfao
