This is incredible @ScottiesRetroChannel! I was one of the contestants and have been waiting for this to be made available for decades! It was never aired and heard it was locked in an archive as Paul had moved to ITV I believe. Paul didn't enjoy the final result along with getting bumps but we had a great time and afterparty, If it is possible to get an unmooted version please let me know. Thank you thank you thank you! (I won't say which contestant I was, this is also very cringe! 😅)

Comparing to Jim Davidson's time on the show that already ended around an year before this was taped, Paul O'Grady's role as a new presenter of The Generation Game would've been fantastic since his time on Blankety Blank as Lily Savage.
Such a shame that he didn't even enjoy the result of it and I really doubt that the BBC themselves has ever transmitted one of the 2 pilots.

I always found it funny they would make the presenters walk out down a sort of obstacle course staircase on each show😂 Another beautiful lady with a gorgeous voice. Yall have em. I used to be.... and have hahaha😂
That dance has me rolling on the floor😂As an artist myself basing on actual talent and the curve of those participating I'd say 3 8 7 5 instead. I see dude with bouncing balls as more of a children's party entertainment thing 😮😳

Hi Paul, Sorry for the delay in replying. I know the version you mean Paul. I think it was just a one off if I remember rightly. I think the contestants were celebrities with their family members? Wasn't Davina McCall one of the contestants? I don't have it, but I'll look for it for you as I'd like to see that again myself.

I remember his name being mentioned with the programme years ago, but I'd completely forgot about it and I never knew a pilot had been made.
