Just use a scarifier for grass. You can get battery or corded options for >$200.

Okay JM you've peaked my interest, Does it or How do you handle intruding grass? I currently use a mattock to pull dandelions or to scoop under grass roots.

What amendments do you put on your bed?

Avec cet outil, est-ce que la herse rotative perd de l'intérêt ? Quel outil est le plus efficace : le Tilther ou la herse rotative ?

Would a shallow pass with the BCS do the same?

A shallow pass with a power harrow on the BCS is a great option, the Tilther is simply an advantage for the reasons mentioned in the video: tight spaces, light and easy to move around, less expensive etc. Ultimately the goal, regardless of which tool we use, is a nice and level seedbed with good tilth to provide good seed to soil contact when we direct seed (or easy to work soil without large air pockets when transplanting) Hope that helps! 🙂

Is there anyone selling the tilther in Europe?

One big drawback - the drill is not placed in the middle - can be a pain on side of greenhouses

But the tilter destroys the life in the most vivid top layer!?

Its $600 USD for a tool that should cost $200 USD
