I've got a high tier coating and got a few scratches on my door. I made the mistake and used some Meguiars Scratch X to rub it out. I basically hazed up areas on my door. Ceramic coating is awesome if you take care of it like it's supposed to be. If you run it through a brush carwash, no matter what kind, it can mess it up really bad. I wish I had never had it done. I would have rather just hand waxed it.

That is one scary job, that's gotta be among the hardest difficulty jobs a detailer would have to do, no? This video made me realize the UV light reflecting coating that Adams is using is an excellent idea, assuming it lasts the life of the coating. That would be a slick way to let a detailer know when its there or not without having to possibly go too far...

Thank you Brian. Looking forward to the future with graphene coatings. Not that I know anything about a Adams coatings but I suspect that with the UV glow it would be a lot easier to take their coating off because you would be able to UV light the car as you removed the coating. I have heard that graphene coating bonds only to bare clear coat and that layering graphene coatings give no extra durability. I just think just using a spray coat as a topper/sacrificial layer would have been enough.
