Rustoleum is not as bad as people think! I painted the driver fender about 4 month ago, and it still looks just as good as day 1. I've had some viewers tell me they've had their rustoleum paint for 4 yrs and still going strong. It's all about how you maintain it!

@@bossboxchevyog6900 I'd say just start off by following the instructions on the back of the paint can. Whether its rustoleum, single stage or base coat / clear. And your spray gun should also tell you the pressure to use since each spray gun is different (depending if its siphon or gravity feed).
Try spraying a test panel before so you can get a feel for the gun. Steady back and forth with about 50% overlap.
Usually with 2 or 3 good coats is good, so don't worry about trying to cover everything in the first pass.
If you get any bugs, or imperfections on the paint, just leave it till the paint dries,.. you can fix it later with the wet sand and polish.
Other tips before spraying: use plastic or the walls. The static will catch overspray.
If you're painting outside.. hose off the ground so you don't have any dust while painting..
Practice makes perfect!
