Truly having Tony to guest star is a special privilege to witness
Not the first time he's at SJ.
Truly, sir
God loves us. And when I mean God, I mean Stan Lee, because he’s Marvel’s OG God.
I was an extra for Homecoming, Far From Home and Endgame when they were filming some scenes in New York City (the FFH scenes ultimately ended up being the ones cut from the film) and I had a scene where I walked into frame and pass Flash in a hallway. We were given props and they had photos of the cast in the most awkward high school poses (some were shown in the end-credits) and between takes, Tony noticed the yearbook and we had a short and sweet conversation laughing about how funny it was. Sweet guy! So glad to have seen him be apart of this
I’m waiting to see Tony’s Flash Thompson reacting to finding out Peter Parker is Spider-Man in the next movie.
@@PacMonster0 all that in 1 movie
PacMonster0 Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock/Venom isn’t part of the MCU so most likely in the MCU it’ll be Flash Thomson to be the next Venom or a different Eddie Brock (or whatever his name is).
While watch but I watch anything including two girls and cup
YES!!
@@PacMonster0 Or he'll meet Sha Shan and attempt to rescue her with the help of Razorback and Spidey when she's kidnapped!
Is it just me or does Tony seem like he belongs on this panel every week?
No he slows everything down.,..
Rinzler X, well that’s because the panel was waiting for him to drop more BTS secrets!🙄
A bunch of sh*t that we didn’t see in the near $30 UHD we just bought!!😠
Because he's friends with them
@@me45116 how is he friends with them?
@@zhm96 I'm not sure how it came to be, but he did some Movie Fighting and wrote recently to Fandom, so there is a prior relationship
It's shocking how everybody just overlooks Tony Revolori's wonderful performance in Grand Budapest Hotel! He was amazing in it!
I totally forgot he was in that movie, wow
damn You are right!
He's been on Movie Fights before, they've talked to him about it in person on camera on this channel. It's not "shocking" that they didn't bring it up again when they had him on to talk about a different movie. (And by "they", I do mean at least some of the same people at that table, although I forget who's been on Movie Fights with him.) That kind of friend-of-the-show familiarity is why they were comfortable straight up roasting him in that last Starring cut joke.
I didn't realize that was him. He's great in that movie.
He was great in DOPE. Saw that film recently. Very underrated
Tony Revolori has great chemistry with you guys! Always a pleasure to see him here. You should invite him to commentaries that have nothing to do with Spider-Man.
they are going to pay him for that. He is a working actor. He probably won’t agree to that. They would love for him to do it.
What I expect: An honest trailer commentary about their honest trailer
What I got: the screen junkies guys try to pry Tony Revelori of MCU Secrets.
Were you....disappointed? Because I wasn't.
Pinoy pride 🤩
Nice that Tony brought up the Hulk wish thing, since nobody here or really elsewhere online seemed to have heard the explanation Feige gave for some reason.
but why did the marching band get attacked by dodgeballs then?
I felt like it was explained with the line "the Soul Stone possesses a certain wisdom," to say that it knows enough not to bring people back in situations that will get them killed.
Ghost Asparagus what about the people who were in a plane during the snap and the pilots were snapped..???
@@prof.evilpictures8696 they were placed on the ground safely.
@@adzinco6916 Dodgeballs don't really cause damage.
Uncle Ben: You took everything from me.
Tony Stark: I don’t even know who you are.
I would like to see a sitcom in the MCU, with normal people reacting to all the insane things that happen in the universe.
DC Comics basically did this with the TV show Powerless. It didn't even make a full season.
@@endorbr well the DCEU is behind the MCU by miles in terms of worldbuiding. The idea would see the events that we know by the perspective of normal people. Not normal people living in a generic super hero universe.
They had one planned. It was going to be a half hour sitcom style workplace comedy about the MCU janitorial people that clean up the messes left behind after all the catastrophic destruction wrought by heroes and villains and aliens fighting each other. It was going to be based on the comic of the same name.
Damage Control.
But due to a lot of internal reasons and lots of theoretical reasons behind the scenes, the idea was scrapped and now our only mention of Damage Control in the MCU is the scenes in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Shame, I could have easily seen an Office/Parks and Rec style show where they are making blog posts or maybe talking to a psychologist (because in that kind of job it would probably be company mandated once a week) about the crazy things that happen on their job while also living "mundane" lives and having sitcom style interactions with co-workers.
that's pretty much just Peter's classmates all the time
I've actually enjoyed the spiderman MCU movies for that reason that it shows us a lot of normal people's reactions to the universe.
"Tony Stark was the Uncle Ben!"
Everyone forgetting about Civil War when he mentions bad things happening because he did nothing
Everyone remembers them not mentioning him in no shape or form in his actual movies tho
Hence why civil war was his best appearance.
@G-Luke in Homecoming (I think) he mentions that Aunt Mae was going through some hard times. alluding to Uncle Ben
SonoftheWay35 And we see Ben’s stuff everywhere. Ben is alluded to. But it’s been years at this point since his death. When he was first introduced, it was soon enough after for him to want to not talk about Ben, now it’s long enough after for him to allude to but they want to avoid the origin story stuff
You're paraphrasing the quote to the point that it's hilarious but yeah uncle Ben could have existed in the MCU.
THEY GOT FLASH THOMPSON THE DAY FLASH GORDON’S THEME WAS USED ON THE FLASH
Morgan Freeman Assuming it was filmed yesterday, it would be the same day that the 6th season premiere of The Flash used the theme song of Flash Gordon from the film starring Sam Jones
Flash mob!
AND WE'RE ONLY MONTHS FROM THE DEATH OF FLASH
#RIPNewgrounds
Best Cisco scene ever!!
It truly is a happy coincidence
"After everything she's been through..."
is Peter's line to Ned and one of the two references to Uncle Ben in the MCU.
I don't believe they have said his name yet.
His name has not been said out loud.
JackDManheim • yup, that haven’t said his name.
His picture and initials have been shown, though.
Lauren Anderson • you’d have to know what the initials stand for to understand the reference. General folks wouldn’t.
pic? At what part?
Does anyone else feels that the fact that Tony is friends with Screen Junkies automatically makes him friends with all of us? 😂😂
I feel it too hahahahahaha
"Welcome back to Honest Trailers therapy" actually, yes please
Tony is an amazing actor to be so likeable on SJU and to be so detestable as Flash, and to make me feel pity for his character when his parents aren't there to pick him up from the airport
Tony: Why would The Eternals mention Iron Man?
Me who's seen The Eternals teaser: 😂
"Who should Spidey team up with?"
ARE YOU GUYS FRIGGIN SERIOUS???
DEADPOOL!!!
Not a teenage spiderman. If he was older It would be kool. When they team up spiderman has to become the straight man. He is no way near as jokey.
Haha aww Tony is so adorable; so glad you got him! This was also a hilarious reminder that a lot of these actors aren’t actually overly reading into the movies like we are 😂
Lingerr Senghor Spider-Man?
Noah Clark Am I Spider-Man? I’m not at liability to say.
I’d like to think Flash snapped back into his family home and they barely reacted. There’s just kind of an “oh you’re back. That’s good” and it’s why he craves so much validation online because the likes/comments/shares make up for the fact he was gone for 5 years and his parents couldn’t even stop to care
Love this guy and loved the added layers to his character in the movie!
Thor: "Just so you know, it's called the 'Snap'!" 😂
what always cracked me up, Kevin Feige and other official Marvel peeps went out of their way many months before End Game was even released to say in universe, the event of people initially disappearing will be known as "the Decimation". Then we see End Game, and it's literally never called that, in dialog or in print, anywhere a single time. in FFM they never do give the first part a name, but of course call the second part "the blip".
Kevin W
What’s FFM?
HelloSadness101 Far From Ho w
Oh snap! 😂
@@HelloSadness101 Spider-Man: Far From May
24:10 That's another scene, Joe. Beck looks back at Peter when he's about to talk to MJ, before fighting the Water Elemental.
"Rules and regulations"... it's Zombieland, isn't it (I just checked, they haven't done it, and the sequel is coming out next week, so it makes sense...
Isaac Richter That makes more sense than John Wick 3, (what i thought) did they do John Wick 3 yet?
@@langleymneely They haven't done the second one either
That was my thought, I was just about to check if they'd already done it so thanks for saving me the effort :)
I was hoping for Toy Story 4...
Yeah, 100%. First time I've 'known' what it's gonna be. Can't wait, love that film! :)
The scene with Mysterio in regular clothes at the airport was NOT at the end of the movie. It's much earlier.
Thank you. That's what I thought too.
does someone have a timecode on this? I just rewatched all the airport stuff, of both before they went to Europe and when they get back, and I'm not seeing him.
@@kevinw712 It's in the first airport scene of the movie. He has a hat and a Hawaiian shirt on.
Kevin W it’s not an airport scene it’s when they get to Venice. After they show MJ with the birds it pans to Peter watching, look in the background there
@@petermjbags6254 ohhhhhh okay, thank you. I thought I was going nuts lol yes, I see him now. I've only watched the movie twice so far, that's the kind of thing I likely wouldn't have MAYBE caught to the 3rd or 4th time.
MJ being like Debbie Downer is actually accurate to 90% of high school students today
What can they do in an awful world?
Tony really know his movies, loved it.

Yeah, no one likes the Raimi trilogy anymore.
Wow, tony revolori is just so great. Love him! So glad he could be here for this
He fits in with them very very well. I actually feel like he could be there talking about movies with them even if he wasn't in it.
Lon looked like a Mad Scientist for a bit explaining his earlier script draft.
Lon is a mad scientist lol
9:08-9:45 (about): Thank you guys SO much for mentioning that in Homecoming, Peter DOES acknowledge Ben in super subtle way. He says something to Ned along the lines of, "I can't tell May about Spider-Man. Not after everything that's happened with her." It's really, really hard to catch if you somehow still don't know the Uncle Ben origin story, but it's there. Thanks Tony for telling them that!
Its so cool that they asked him to guest star, and even cooler that he accepted.
I love MJ. She’s very funny. Be good to spend some time with her just quietly smirking at her comments.
The actress did a great job portraying her negativity as a defense mechanism rather than just a personality trait. She showed that the character was just as nervous about liking Peter as he was about liking her. Very believable teenager reaction.
I actually don't like her character at all. I love Zendaya and she did a good job but I just wasn't a fan of the portrayal.
I just love how she's not all pretty and cutesy like most superhero girlfriends
Ailieorz well, I still think she’s very cute but the “therefore I have value?” type of dry stuff is just what I usually throw out to my friends with nobody responding to me.
That's not fair. I Honestly prefer this show... There's more of it!
John Favreau's character from Chef gets the armor and they just call him Iron Chef.
This is genius
The reason they're keeping the Spidey villains alive is because they're literally building to a Sinister Six team up.
I bet the next movie will have Kraven as the main villain. With Spider-Man's identity revealed he's primed to be hunted down. And if we get to a sixth Marvel Spider-Man movie, we'll get Doctor Octopus uniting them all.
5th Spider-Man movie really, since the first one introduced both Vulture and Shocker.
@@rarm5899 Vulture, Shocker, and Scorpion.
LupineShadowOmega Eh not really, I think Scorpion still needs a proper introduction. All they did was a small tease on the cruise ship and if I remember right, Adrian talking to him in the post credits scene. I could kinda see him being the main antagonist of the next one though.
“He’s like iron man and Thor rolled into one”
He's no spiderman.
“What is it with you and Spider-Man?”
"What? He’s just awesome, okay? He protects the neighborhood, and, you know, he’s inspiring. He inspires me to be a better man."
Sup dickwadd
@@shanenickel-thibodeau *Peter gives a happy thumbs up*
I’m surprised they are talking over ‘flash’ so frequently
It's because they're close so they see him as a friend more than a guest.
They do that all the time. Screen Junkies needs to let people talk one after the other.
Tony is pretty likable. These guys have great chemistry :-)
A truly special guest, the only one to get the bottled water today ;)
You can tell the true VIPs because only they get to drink the microwaved cancer water. Don't drink the water Toni it's only there as a sign of respect, it's not for human consumption!
Best use of a Debbie Downer reference ever!
Aunt May is Spider Woman and she can't control her pheromone powers.
Kudos for getting "The great Budapest hotel kid"... Sorry, but That's how i'm gonna remember him
Concerning The Leader:
With his brain still expanded due his infection, Sterns was found by Black Widow, who asked him if he was Samuel Sterns, to which Sterns responded that perhaps he indeed was once but that now he shall become much more. Sterns then identified Black Widow's birthplace from a hint of an accent in her voice. Sterns then attempted to bribe her, promising he would help her come back to Stalingrad and share his vision with hers, but Black Widow shot him the leg and subsequently placed him into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s custody. Sterns was taken afterwards to a secure location to be studied by S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists. The incident relating to Stern's arrest was later referred to as "Project Mr. Blue"
----
Black Widow defeated him in the Avengers Prelude Comic.
Tony has so much chemistry with everyday. Dude’s hilarious and charming
Why do I think they will immediately put the genie back in the bottle when it comes to Peters identity? Like the next film will open with Stark Industries, Happy, May & Peter in a press conference denying the claim hes Spiderman by using a Skrull or another person to pretend to be the real Spidey. I doubt it would convince everyone, but for some reason I don’t think that reveal will be as big as everyone expects it to be.
Tony should compete on the Schmoedown. IT seems like this guy knows a lot about movies, not just his own.
HT Commentaries are always fun, this one was also informative. I loved hearing all the backstories/potential scenes from Tony Revolori's viewpoint. He always brings an energy whenever he appears. And if the Disney Overlords are watching, listening or just intuiting please keep Flash's parents more absentee and absent-minded than anything else.
Getting Tony for the Honest Trailer Commentary is very cool
*Very cool*
it's so awesome to see Tony Revolori is a fanboy, he knows his stuff and obviously have watched all MCU movies :) i'm impressed!!!
Tony Revolori is honestly great. I think Brad Davis should’ve been deleted so Flash could take his place. Not only because it’d make more sense in the story, but also he is hilarious and needs to have a larger part in my opinion.
They are definitely teasing him having a bigger part.
47:46 a Disney+ show where every episode is a different theory as to why peter disappears.
*Zombieland for next week? There’s a new one coming out, and Jesse Eisenberg has his rules for surviving the zombie apocalypse*
The non-MCU filmmaker joke is really the best joke in a long time. Couldn’t stop laughing 😂
Flash mentioned he admires Spiderman, so knowing it's Peter and that "he killed Mysterio" must cause a big conflict
Maybe Flash will be an ally in clearing his name, because he idolises Spider-Man too much to believe Mysterio, even if it's Peter.
They dissed Tony Revolori in their bonus footage, and then invited him to watch it...…. that's cold man.
Tony - you will always be my ravioli! Thanks for always coming back to us (Screen Junkies) 🙏❤️
I really like that Tony comes on occasionally not to plug stuff, but rather because he seems to genuinely like hanging out with the crew.
Thank you, Spencer, for reminding me that I'm not the only one who remembers Brotherhood of the Wolf.
Tony’s knowledge of film and cinema always blows my mind
He knows so much
"zoink is my word for today"
jinkies!
Joe Manganiello, who played Flash Thompson in the Raimi movies, has said in interviews that his dream MCU role would be to play Kraven the Hunter
He's playing Deathstroke in DCEU now.
The Lover Boy for sure. But that’s still very theoretical right now
This was so so good with Tony. Bring him back for another!
Everyone's a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal, Spencer.
Imagining Nicolas Cage starring in Drumline at an HBCU is hilarious! haha 33:00
I want to know how hot uncle Ben was!
well since she is now seeing happy then if she has a type, he looked like kevin james.
In my mind he's Bradley Cooper (since he's only in the MCU by voice) or Patrick Dempsey
~Gio~~
He’s Toby Maguire.
Or Steve Carrel
Dude, what the heck?
Gyllenhal and let God sort em out. I knew a certain uncle said that on a grave December morn. It took 75 federal marshals to take him down.
I love the simpsons references
I absolutely adore that Tony is barely a guest star, more like an old friend in town. There's none of that tiptoeing of other guests they're all natural buddies. Also nice to know he isnt a douche like his on screen persona.
We need the movie from Martin Starr and J.B. Smoove Far From Home as a full on series.
That's an amazing Big Trouble in Little China shirt.
Whenever on of the Screen Junkies says 'Tony', I keep thinking STARK....I know I'm NOT alone on this

ITS FLASH!!! AAAAAAA AAAAAAAA!!!!
Yo, you got Tony on! Awesome!
8:09 what Prince fan isn’t still sad about his death
I love Tony;s knowledge of comics and of the MCU as a whole. He was also hugely entertaining. I hope we get to see more of Flash in the next Spidey movie
According to his birth certificate, Peter Parker is 21. He just hasn't been around for 5 of those years.
He hasn’t physically/cognitively developed during that time either though
@@TheSuperNats He was physically absent for five years. Got to wonder how the Blip will make databases much more complicated, and how many people will take advantage of it, like the sad teacher's wife. What an administrative nightmare, not to mention an explosion in the global population because there's five years of more babies being born. The Blip is actually quite depressing if you think about it really hard.
Also people weren’t snapped back exactly 5 years later so everyone’s birthday would change
1. Where was the Alan?
2. Love that you got Frat Tony to guest on this commentary! You should do that future movies you cover!
3. What a great time for Spider-Man fans! He’s the head of the biggest movie franchise in the world, and he has a new PS4 game, a groundbreaking animated film, and a whole other universe’s worth of spinoffs on the way!
4. Now THAT was a good hint from Spencer for next week. For now, I’m gonna go with Toy Story 4.
i just looked it up Martin Starr plays the same character throughout the MCU across his 3 apperences
Yes but only retroactively. He was originally playing Amadeus Cho in Incredible Hulk, but in light of him being in these Spider-Man movies they decided to change it so that he plays the same character. Which is good because Amadeus Cho deserves to actually be in an MCU film and portrayed by an Asian or Asian American actor
Spencer says “can’t get Alfred Molina back” cut to trailer in 2021 “Hello Peter”
I was thinking the same thing
I suddenly want Tony Revolori in all of these Honest Trailers Commentary. He knows his movies his funny, he gets along great with the crew.
Most interesting and informative HT Commentary ever. Well, that I've seen. Well, that I can remember seeing.
It was great, thanks Tony.
Neither Happy nor Aunt May dusted they lied to cover they being in a relationship
Tony legit settles in with this crew so well
I wouldn’t mind them taking a page out of Into the Spider-Verse’s page & gender bending Doc Oc for the next Spider-Man film. Have her played by Anne Hathaway.
Hmmm... I dunno I'd go with someone older looking. Laura Dern maybe.
FerociousPaul I think Anne was my go to because aesthetically she looks like the female Doc Oc looked in Into the Spider-Verse
Sam Raimi's Harry Osborn Goblin is called New Goblin
Kraven is the perfect villain to the third Spider-Man movie.
I really feel like you guys took it easy on the villain's plan. Definitely a convoluted one that deserved a wall of text explaining it as Epic Voice Guy skims over it.
_Brotha-Man: Into the Brotha-Verse..._ I'm here for it.
Gwen’s death scene, with that sound effect, was my favorite part of that trailer. I couldn’t stop laugh and kept rewinding it. LOL
So dark, plus the Amazing Movies just sucked. Lesson to Marvel, let DC have Avi Arad.
funny as always and a great guest with a lot of insight on the movie
Gotta love how cheesy the opening student film is, right down to using Comic Sans font.
When Harry found Norman's lair in sm2 the shot lingered on a gold prototype goblin helmet implying hobgoblin.
