While with PayAnyone, when your friends enroll with Chime, it's easy to instantaneously send money to each other using the said feature in the Move Money section of your Chime app.
You can search for a recipient using the email address, phone number, or $ChimeSign associated with their Chime Account. Hi there! Thank you for reaching out. Chime members can send Pay Anyone transfers to non-Chime members in the Pay Anyone tab of the app. You may enter a non-member's phone number or email address to proceed with the transfer.
If I have a chime account but I want to get my money using the cashing out with my debit card from my bank can I still do that?
Hi Lupe, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. You can make transfers from an external bank account using your Chime routing and account numbers. There are no limits or fees imposed by Chime on these transfers, however other banks may have their own restrictions.
You can also transfer money from your Checking Account to an external bank account 💸 You can send up to $5,000.00 per day, with a maximum of $25,000.00 per month. You can receive up to $200.00 per day, with a maximum of up to $1,000.00 per month in transfers from an external bank account to your Checking Account. Bank transfers take 3-5 business days to process.
@Chime I closed it down but if someone send me money through chime can I just cash it out using the method with my debit card ( not having a chime account anymore)

Everytime I request a payment it says that the person doesnt have a chime account and tells me to invite them, but doesnt allow me to request the money. Isnt't it supposed to be for everyone even if they dont have a chimr account?

To Request Money from friends:
▶️Log in to your Chime mobile app.
▶️Tap the Pay Anyone button on the bottom navigation bar
▶️Tap "Search People”.
▶️Enter the name, phone number or email of the person who you want to request money from. The recipient must also be a Chime member.
▶️Enter the amount of money you want to receive and write a brief description.
▶️Tap "Request"
Done! 🎉

- If the recipient is a Chime member, they will instantly receive the funds.
- If they are not a Chime member, they will receive a text message or email informing them that they can claim their funds either by (1) enrolling in a Chime account and receiving the transfer as a member or (2) entering debit card details to transfer funds to a U.S. bank account immediately.
Note: If the recipient doesn't claim their funds within 14 days, fails enrollment, or the pending transfer is canceled, the money is returned to the sender's account.
Okay but can I pay somebody who lives in Mexico and has a Mexican bank account? I can't seem to get a definite answer on this. Anybody know?

@anthony wright it doesn't matter if they have a bank account from Mexico. Once they enter their debit card info they will receive the money you sent

How do I (no chime account) send money to some who has a chime account.

@Chime this is not an issue with my bank this is an issue with Chime. If you can not tell me how I can see money to someone who is banking with you. Especially since Chime doesn't use Zelle like a normal bank. Like my bank does.
Chime works with Zelle! You can link your account in 3 different ways:
1. Link through your Chime card through the Settings section of your Zelle app.
2. Link through your Chime account by entering your account number and routing number. (this can be in the Settings page of your Chime app)
3. Link through Plaid.

Note: Pay Anyone Transfers to non-Chime members that haven't been claimed can be canceled at any time by the sender on their app. A canceled Pay Anyone Transfer will return the funds to the sender's account immediately.

Can I send money that's in my savings account to someone?
Hi Connor. Thank you for reaching out! You can send funds to someone through Pay Anyone. Currently, Pay Anyone is a feature that allows members to send money from their Chime Checking Account to anyone. If you wish to use the amount on your Chime Savings Account, you may need to transfer funds first from your Chime Savings Account to your Chime Checking Account. Follow these steps to transfer funds through the app:
- Tap Move Money on the bottom of the home screen.
- Tap Transfer Funds.
- Using the green arrows on the right side of the screen, select the desired From and To accounts.
- Enter the amount to transfer and tap Transfer.
- On the next screen, review the transfer amount and the accounts selected. Tap Confirm Transfer to complete the transfer.
How do I send money to someone who has chime if I don't have chime?

2️⃣Tap either Request or Pay.

1. Go to the Pay Anyone tab in the home screen of the app.
2. Select a recent contact or search for a friend via their name, email, or phone number. Select the name of the recipient.
3. Enter the dollar amount and a description of the transfer (may include emojis).
4. Review the recipient, amount, and description, and confirm the transfer.
Note: If they are not a Chime member, they will receive a text message or email informing them that they can claim their funds either by (1) enrolling in a Chime account and receiving the transfer as a member or (2) entering debit card details to transfer funds to a U.S. bank account immediately.
