      Hi I have the 5D w bass pedals. I'm running a (not recommended) jg3 bass pedals. It is simply a midi board and the split for the 5D is in the 1st or 2nd octaves.

    Hey; I enjoy your videos very much. Are you using a Leslie with your Nord .?

      Sorry for the late reply. I'm only using the Leslie simulator that's in the Nord. Nothing external. Thanks for watching.

    Can you do a video on how to set up the pedals to the Nord and use them as bass pedals?

      Hi there. The way to go about this is to connect your pedals to the midi IN on the Nord, then select Dual Manual on the Organ section, then select B3 Bass also. That should do it. Let me know if that works.

    I can’t get mine to play the actual bass tone. They’re playing just low organ notes lol. Do you mind helping me?

    I was just gifted a Nord Electro 6D , how do I hook up bass pedals to my board?

    • @MrRyancangri
      @MrRyancangri  Před 5 měsíci

      Congratulations!!! MIDI out from the pedalboard, to MIDI in on the Nord. Then you'll need to split the Nord to play the Upper parts, and the pedals will play anything on the lower parts. The parts can be selected on the actual sections. Lower/Upper. Let me know if that works.

    • @MrRyancangri
      @MrRyancangri  Před rokem

      It'll be Midi Out from the pedalboard, to the Midi In of the Nord. Then you'll just assign the lower parts to be played by the pedalboard, on the Nord.

      @@MrRyancangri ok how to assign the lower parts to be played by the pedalboard, on the Nord?

    • @MrRyancangri
      @MrRyancangri  Před rokem

      @@mckinniesoundz9718 You'll select Keyboard Split (if I'm not mistaken lol), then select each section to play either Lower, or Upper. Note that if you decide to use a bass from the Sample section to be played by the bass pedals, that same bass will also be playable on the lower part of the keyboard also. To me it's not a big deal. I just make sure that my Split Point is at the lowest section of the keyboard.
