A friend of mine sent me this today on facebook.I have never heard of this guy.But this sermon hit me right in the face,Ive been struggling with something and it has got me to the point i was ready to quit! Thank you God for the messeage,It gave me a whole new outlook. I am crying like a baby as i sit here and listen!
I love how God is using this guy. I really think his sermons are powerful and God talks to me through them. God bless you Francis Chan. May He gives you all you need for your following service (love, grace, his truth...).
Thank you Lord what an honest Word am getting real and confessing to the Lord just as you are doing with the people Thank you Lord that you hear our prayer and That I confess all my sin
It just proves that God loves you so much and cares for you, and He is completely aware of your struggle. And He used your friend to comfort you. God is the best Lover and Comforter were ever gonna have. To God be the glory! :)
I want to be completely honest with God because I am a liar n hypocrite ..pls help me Lord..in Jesus name I ask n pray..Amen!!...someone pls pray for me urgently
I'm with 7god7father7. Francis blows my mind every time too. I don't appreciate too much what Mark Driscoll did with Joshua Harris when they kind of bashed him in what he was doing. I believe Francis is more spirit-filled and Spirit-led than many of these pastors today. I would love to meet him, just to give him a hug, brother to brother and fellowship with him. God our Father has his hand upon this child of God.
So refreshing to hear a known Christian preaching against sin. Too much emphasis is placed on nice things ("positive, encouraging K-Love!"--CCM never deals with sin), but God isn't always positive or nice.
Thank you brother. I agree we should test everything; even Godly leaders are far from perfect, unlike Jesus. I would say that your comment applies more to Rob Bell though..Also I would encourage you to check out Seattle Mars Hill Church's beliefs because you might be seriously missing out on God's blessings in regards to sermons.
Jeremiah 23:24 says, “Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?” Jeremiah 49:10 says, “He shall not be able to hide himself.” We read in Ezekiel 28, verse 3, :There is no secret that they can hide from thee.” In spite of all of our efforts to have our sins hidden, God knows about them and sees it. Let's be honest and confess them before a Holy God.
just to remind you, that you must test everything that is revealed to you, and false prophets are rising up right now. Unless you are certain of Mr. Driscoll's beliefs, don't assume that he is indeed a true friend of Jesus. Just a brotherly reminder, not saying that you're wrong at all!:)

@SlaveOfCrist Agree with you, except Mark Driscoll was just concerned. They are both friends of our Jesus. Let us love and respect them both.
