I'm curious as I'm looking at the Befaco STMix, Nekyia Opal or now I've seen this the Doepfer A-138j. I'm curious to know how this handles audio signals? The STMix has two versions, V1 & V2. The V1 is DC coupled, which means you have to be sure the audio signal is not offset, otherwise you get a sort of crackle. The V2 is for audio only (+5/-5 volts only). The Opal looks very 'sexy', but it's only 3 channels, and less control on the outs.
So, this leaves me with the Doepfer A-138j, maybe you can fill in the gaps?
Thanks in advance (BTW, I'm going to post a similar post on Mod Wiggler).

The in and outputs on the A138j are DC coupled, it handles audio signals well, I haven't experienced issues, I'm not offsetting the audio. I find it a bit weird to compare it to the Befaco because that is a stereo mixer without the inverting and muting options and it is also less suited to route feedback chains etc. I like to input the A138j with different waveforms from the same osc to create nice variations without patching, I think the A138j is versatile, if you're looking for a stereo 4 channel mixer look at the A138s.
