So I have spent the last 12 months living alone, coming to terms in my own skin. I am moving from the country into the big city of Melbourne, from 10 acres into a dog box.
I am going to have a go at living in the big city for a CHANGE - its just for 12 months,(and Im a 5 minute walk from the water) I still own my home in the country, I will never sell it - but my lifestyle is essentially one of travel and work, I seriously want to do some OS trips when this COVID19 stuff ends - I plan to do MOTOVLOGGING fulltime - the maintenance of my country retreat is massive. Its simply a fresh start.....its just me and I'm as free as I have ever been ! - I'm just gunna go live as hard as I can and make as many short movies as possible before I die. You can also follow me on INSTAGRAM if you want daniel_hayes3
All the very best to you in your new place. Just a bit sad you had to let your dog go to another home. But I’m sure he has enough place to run around in nature.
I deal with depression and anxiety. I picked up riding after I sobered up and it truly saved my life. You are a constant inspiration and I want to say thank you for being open and honest all of the time and not being afraid to share your emotions. I'm proud of you bro. Keep posting videos and I'll keep watching them. Much love and ride safe dude!
I had a really bad accident a year ago smashed my heel and ankle too bits falling through a roof at work so I was having a shit time then I found you're channel so now my wife's Gonny kill you because if now went and bought myself a bike to get rid of all my negative thoughts I was having . Cheers Daniel you dragged me out of the gutter mate keep it up
Hi Michael,Carpenter here.Fell thru a roof 19 months ago.Burst fractured T12, compression fractured T9,Fractured clavicle ( 3 surgeries later after severing my sub clavien vein in initial operation),early onset of osteoarthritis in both hips after being in a Jewitt brace for 4 months, bilateral adhesive capsilitus in shoulder's ( now pain free, shit it hurt, after 18 months), 3 opioid withdrawals, traumatic brain injury from impact, permanent loss of smell & taste & ... c2 & c3 damaged from whiplash from head hitting the concrete slab. All after telling someone an hour & half before not to leave a trip hazard & ol m8 didn't listen. Sorry to bore you with details. My point is 4 months ago I bought a brand new Honda cb500x at the horror of certain "friends" & naysayers.Have now clocked up 18000 kms & sacked two psychologist's whose Beta male approach totally failed me.My GP loves my planned way forward ( thought I was gonna get lectured there) cause " I ride a bike too,Mal".My real hero is my wife of 38 years who didn't squeal about it all.Mate, what works for you doesn't work for everybody else, stick with it buddy & good luck in the journey.I know I've had a shit ton of it to be even writing this. Gotta thank you Danny for keeping me laughing & entertained along the way.Can you please fuck that white helmet off & stop calling it "Covid 19".Love your work, stay safe & keep the content coming.Apocalypse bikers for the dream.😆
That face when the heat hit, priceless. I just dont think I could live in town, love the country. Your videos are the best, wish 8 had found you when you started.
Glad to see you’re doing better. Very brave of you to speak so openly about your own mental health. Hope the apartment move works out for you, good decision hanging onto that acreage it looks like an awesome spot.
you are a major inspiration in my life. I’m going through the absolute most difficult time of my life with a story very similar to yourself. all the emotions you describe throughout your channel always seem to lift me up when i feel like throwing in the towel. thank you
Crazy looking back on the RoadKing and seeing all it's been put thru up to 8/30/22. Love the channel and the content. Keep it up man and stay strong...
I love you brother, been watching the channel for a long time. I never choose to tell one how to live his life. However watching you ride in this video was very eerie! Your no beginner mate, you know better then to be so careless. After all you have been through and the great message you share. It would be a damn shame to pass on over stupidity! We get a bad rap as motorcyclist to begin with. It’s a bad look Danny. I only say this bc I care brother. Have fun and enjoy yourself, we all push the limits. But please remain vigilant. I’m sorry if this seems out of line or offensive. Stay safe.
Great video I really enjoyed and congratulations on new place. Lmbo at the end not hot challenge then you say pull over 🤣😂. Ride safe my friend God bless
Love watching your adventures, reflections and seeing how life is in Australia. Danny.............. give your dog some love though. Look forward to watching more great content and thank you for sharing all you do. Respect from Cornwall UK.
Love your honesty, your heart, your compassion, your crazy antics, your humour, the BS you tell people then own up as its a joke, the films and the reality of what you speak about. Hope your channel and antics on film get the credit and viewing figures they, and you deserve.
in my life the only time i have truly felt the word love is when my granddaughter was born. at month 2 she needed open heart surgery. she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. she makes all the hard work worth it. she is near 4 years old now and i do love her.
Your comments about excerise are spot on. When I am fit and happy with my body the mental stuff is much easier. Good luck with the move. It's not where you live, it's how you live that is important.
I have enjoyed many of the travelling videos on this channel, there have been some genuinely funny moments and some wonderful photography and videos. However the two most interesting clips in this one, is the passage about the dog and the interaction with the lady who is driving the car towards the end. Insightful, one might say.
Very proud of you mate, life is a massive journey, personally I’ve sorted my baggage and became a mental health counsellor, your an inspiration to a lot of men.
Steve @GHD put me onto your channel. Have watched a few and this vid is the best so far. Love your style and humour and the editing is great. Thanks and hope to see you at GHD sometime.
Congratulations Mr Bogan on your lifestyle change and your freedom. I found it interesting when you said that the pain of separation didn't kill you. A lesson for all there in similar situations, time heals all. Pain subsides slowly but surely. Looking forward to your next instalment 👍👍👍
keep em coming danny, you seem so much more positive lately mate, its great to see. glad your keeping the acreage for a later time in your life. great vid mate :)
Having understood what you've gone through while doing those rides, I've a huge respect for your strength and your own self awareness. I've no doubt you're a difficult bastard to live with, but that's why you are who you are. The truth about the ability to love and be loved I totally empathise with. So Danny, as the 10millionth subscriber I'm happy to relinquish my claim on the Harley. In any case we can't fly anywhere aboard the Covid express. Keep flowing my man.
😂😂”I feel nothing.” “pull over,” brilliant. I only discovered your blog / vlog by accident about a month ago, and I’ve got to say you make me smile and laugh Danny. Keep up the good work.
Loving the new digs mate, would love a garage like that with the stacker. I had to laugh at the guy looking at your bike at the petrol station, that happens to me all the time with my Harley breakout. I've had it about a month now and I almost always get stopped by bike admirers. Hoping to start a Moto Vlog series soon once this virus fucks off.
Discovered you channel by recommendation from another Australian, BeanieBoyMoto, and he was right, not sorry I checked out you channel, entertaining, funny, heartfelt, awesome, subscribing as this is being typed, greetings from South Africa, looking forward to watching a lot more.
I saw you pass me in the green and white Kenworth I tooted and waved . I also flashed my lights at you when you started to do your pretend running lol you made my day . I’ve also msgd you . Under Roger dodger .
Good luck with everything from your past to everything new in your world. I've been Thur so much and the one thing I have to remember is WHAT IS DIFFICULTY FOR ONE IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE ELSE.. Keep your head up and if you need it ask for help because if you don't think people would miss you then you have no idea how much and how many lives you not being there would hurt so many . When I lost my son just about the first thing my ex told me was that I was the last person that needed for all I have been Thur. A big elbow bump to you my friend and one day I hope to ride with you and then a great big HUG for you.
At least your still on this side of the Yarra (sort of), good lifestyle there. Good to hear this last year has taken you to better places. Cheers m8 : )
All the best with the move and the new place Danny. The next 6-12 months will really challenge us all. Stay positive and keep up your fitness and we will all make it through 👍
Good luck with the future and keep the vlogs coming, all very entertaining. Those with Parry especially so! I, myself would be more careful about giving my address away, no house on the site back in 2010. Hi from NZ, Anthony.
...You are looking well Danny. A new start is great, wish I could do that. You will be a very popular neighbor....LOL. Glad to hear you may have found someone, maybe a soulmate, we all need one of those. Look forward to your ongoing adventures
New subscriber, am impressed with your courage to do what you have done and relate to us about it. I have been thru some of the hurdles you are going thru. Find yourself before your with someone else, is very key to your success. Your doing that and finding new joy thru the little things in life. I woke up paralyzed 18 months ago from surgery screw ups..and I took walking for granted and simple things as riding a bike. I have recovered thru hard work and belief that I will walk again and I'm doing so. Still have a few videos of yours to watch but I think Harley Davidson should pay you something for your love riding them. The India trip video is good. Keep riding and posting, enjoy your humor and pissy mood outbursts at times..thanks for the videos
I thought this would be an answer to who was on the back of your bike in the last video (great ocean road)................. 😩 I NEED TO KNOW! Great video Daniel 👍
Pullover lmao. Great video Danny and the ones before it too. So glad you are getting back on your feet. I lost everything in my first marriage. I have only just got back to financial independence last year after 7 years of climbing my way back. Mentally I am pretty good now. My marriage went, lost access to my kids, lost my job, my business and all my finances. Good people around you are the definite key. Thanks. Great editing too.
I've been there Daniel for many years. Relationship ended, self destructed etc. Now coming out of it. You are right, life does move on and we adjust. Wishing you every success and happiness in your new chapter
I’m happy for you Danny 😄 me personally I’ve been single almost 10 yrs now and really enjoy the Bachelor life, I’m in my 50s and love it,, to quote a song by the group (yes) Owner of a lonely heart better then an owner of a broken heart. That’s the truth brother. Good luck Danny your always going to be my favorite person on you tube!!
I Look forward to you returning back to the country, it is so nurturing. I envy you and all you have achieved. But right now you are embarking on a huge exciting adventure of rebuilding you. I know what it is like to be angry with someone who's gone. I wish you all the best, it's all about to change.
I'm a bit of a late comer to your channel. Only through watching BB, I learnt about your channel. Loved you on BB and heard about your channel. Sat up last night watching your videos. You made my cry lol . in a good way. Very touching, hearfelt, real and inspiring. Although I don't suffer from depression, my partner of 13 years does. It is debilitating, often with weeks in bed. I watched your video and identified so deeply with your struggle. Your determination to tackle your depression is so inspiring. I think my partner would truly benefit from watching this. Thankyou for all you do and TY for being you and being REAL. As a 52 yo woman, I have too struggled in my life and learnt that FREEDOM is one hell of a powerful thing. I value freedom as my number one thing to aspire to in life.. Whether it be emotional, physical , spiritusl freedom etc... FREEDOM is the passport to all levels of happiness and enlightenment. Aspiring to be your true self is a bloody hard road but once you get there and deal with all the shit, life can get pretty bloody great. A simple life is often the key. Danny all that hard work you have done on yourself is going to reap you great rewards. Loved watching your auctions and loved your trip to Port Campbell Touched me deeply as the Great Ocean Rd is my spiritual place of healing and peace, especially the amazing Port Cambell, very special. Sorry for the big rant, just wanted to express how powerful it is what you are doing. Thankyou again , for shining the light on depression, . a very misunderstood condition. I believe your own journey cam aspire and enlighten others dealing with depression. Have an awesone day. Stay strong and stay FREE :)
If ever you have a dark thought about yourself Danny, just remember that there are countless people out there who wish they were you. I’d be proud to call somebody like you my friend. Keep doing what you’re doing legend ! ✌🏼
Danny, there is a deep emotional thing to leaving home. It all comes back, walking about as you are leaving, the memories hit hard. This is my world at the moment. I will really miss this place, I sit daily under a 110 foot California Redwood. Best part, the challenge. Loved it. So, as you dug in, how was the heat? Nice!
I've been divorced 3mths and separated for 1yr before. It's a hell of a thing, especially as you get older. I wish I could say that it gets easier when people you love choose to leave but I don't think it does really. Recently I took the plunge and decided to get my RE Learners and honestly riding a motorbike has been one of the best and most eye opening experiences I've felt in years. I have been living in a place mentally where not a lot makes me happy these days but learning to ride and riding has absolutely been one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thanks for sharing your story mate, there's plenty of us feeling the same and also trying to find our way post relationship fallout.
People say motorcycles can kill you. I say motorcycles can save your life. Love the videos! Thank you for everything you do!
Nothing cures depression like a ride on a Harley.
I agree, even seeing the bush behind Danny is making me miss riding more. What a waste of reg and insurance money.
Hell yea brother
Todd couldn’t agree more!
AMEN... 🙏🤟😎

Good on you for sharing these details openly. Everyone has dramas and turmoil. Few are able to share openly, both the known and unknown details.
Congratulations Mr Bogan on your lifestyle change and your freedom. I found it interesting when you said that the pain of separation didn't kill you. A lesson for all there in similar situations, time heals all. Pain subsides slowly but surely. Looking forward to your next instalment 👍👍👍

"I live in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity." - Albert Einstein
@Viktor Sligo look at his name, so what do you think Russian?
@Viktor Sligo It appears that you equate aloneness with loneliness. I will chalk that up to your youth.
@spitzndtruth 1 haha agree also in the early 90s on Fast fwd there was a character that said "Victor you are very unatractive man" haha
@Viktor Sligo You're a man capable of self-reflection. That speaks well of you.
Wow you leased that quick! Hope to see you around Melbourne
keep em coming danny, you seem so much more positive lately mate, its great to see. glad your keeping the acreage for a later time in your life. great vid mate :)
Well done Danny.... Inspirational .... U will get there. I've watched most of ya filming... 😁
Good luck with your new lifestyle Danny.

Great blog Danny, loved the jacket scenario , v funny lol 🤣
Loving the new digs mate, would love a garage like that with the stacker. I had to laugh at the guy looking at your bike at the petrol station, that happens to me all the time with my Harley breakout. I've had it about a month now and I almost always get stopped by bike admirers. Hoping to start a Moto Vlog series soon once this virus fucks off.

If ever you have a dark thought about yourself Danny, just remember that there are countless people out there who wish they were you. I’d be proud to call somebody like you my friend. Keep doing what you’re doing legend ! ✌🏼
All the best mate 👍👍,
Danny, there is a deep emotional thing to leaving home. It all comes back, walking about as you are leaving, the memories hit hard. This is my world at the moment. I will really miss this place, I sit daily under a 110 foot California Redwood.
Best part, the challenge. Loved it. So, as you dug in, how was the heat? Nice!
pull ohvaa!! Good luck, I live in the country as well. I wouldn`t mind a crack at living close to the city like that for a bit.
All the best with the change of lifestyle.

Changing lives mate... keep it up
I've been divorced 3mths and separated for 1yr before.
