Hey Dr. Fiste, good to see you uploading again! I definitely remember these exercises (in my case, I have been slacking a bit with my practicing haha). Great to see you're doing well!

Thank you for this. My vibrato has been so much more successful using this method. I was inspired to try it after practicing finger strengthening exercises. It’s not fast but it is consistent. Since I am 70 and began to play only a few months ago, I am enjoying the tone

One of the best videos on vibrato! Do you have any videos on how to play straight bowing, close to bridge, with consistent contact point and core sound? I have been struggling with that for a long time, even I'm not a beginner...😘👍

Thank you so much for the video! When I am practicing the passive motion with the knuckles, I am able to do this in slow motion but I’m having trouble translating it to vibrato. Is this the actual motion I should be going for when I’m doing vibrato? I do definitely have a lot of stiffness in my left arm when doing vibrato. Thank you!

Good question! Yes, it will most likely take a while before you get the passive knuckle motion in your vibrato. The exercise is primarily to get the knuckle to move passively and will not feel exactly the same in the context of vibrato. Don't try to do it. It is something you allow to happen, if that makes sense.
