His take on not focusing on where you want to be in 5 years but instead killing the job in front of you is what's missing in not just basketball, but careers in general. That's where people start to feel like failures because they didn't accomplish what they set out to do in their set limited time. It's like that saying "It's not the hours you put in your work that counts, it's the work you put in the hours." Great interview. Much love to ATS.

This was a dope interview. I heard of Phil Handy he was well respected throughout basketball circuits. This interview showed how he is on and off the court but the stories about with him, Kobe, Kyrie, and Lebron are legendary why because nooone else has these but him and those players. In basketball talks Walter Davis does not get alot of pub. My dad told me about him and how good he was from when he was in college in North Carolina. His game was smooth as butter and he was a definite bucket. I'm glad Phil Handy showed love to "The Greyhound"
